Live Luxe by Jennifer Lopez is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2006, this composition was created by perfumer Claudette Belnavis. Upon release, the scent unfolds with vibrant freshness featuring melon, peach and pear; the heart reveals a delicate floral bouquet of pink freesia, honeysuckle and valley lily; while the base offers an enveloping warmth thanks to musk, vanilla, sandalwood and amber.

I bought it expecting it to smell stronger than the traditional Live, but it disappointed me: it smells like pure pineapple. Even though I know there’s no pineapple in it, that’s what it smells like to me. All in all, I didn’t like it; I expected something better.
To me, it’s a bit sweet at first, but then it becomes fresh and fruity, lingering on the skin. It was a gift, so it’s not entirely mine. I wear it when going shopping or having coffee with friends. I recommend it for spontaneous, fresh, and sporty girls.
I gave it to my mum and it’s a fruit cocktail with pear, peach, and melon notes, plus a citrusy acidic touch not listed in the official notes. It has a component that makes it smell clean, like disinfectant or shampoo, probably due to the sandalwood and musk. The flowers just add a hint to that clean, fruity blend, and it doesn’t smell anything like Ralph Lauren. Overall, it smells lovely thanks to its aquatic notes and shampoo-like style; I recommend it for daily wear for those over 20.
I gave it to my mother and she adored it. It’s a soft, refreshing fruit cocktail. To me, it’s perfect for summer and autumn.
Very rich and exquisite, it’s just like the Ralph: fruity and long-lasting. I love it!
I tried it before and adored it: the bottle and the rich summer scent, pure sweet fruits. First pear, then peach, and finally melon. I liked it, but I wouldn’t buy it again as it doesn’t last long and only smells good when you’re very close.
I received it as a gift and loved it immensely. The bottle is a lovely kaleidoscope that matches the scent perfectly. It’s fruity and fresh, ideal for spring and summer. I wouldn’t use it for special occasions as it doesn’t last long or leave much of a trail, but it’s very cheerful for starting the day.
I absolutely love it; it’s fresh and lasts for hours with just a drop. It smells like watermelon, although people say it’s identical to Ralph (which I’ve rarely tried). It’s sweet, lifts my mood, and is cheaper than the original, so I’ll stick with this JLo version.
Sour-sweet, fruity and flirty. It’s a cheerful, sparkling and very pleasant scent.
Although the bottle didn’t give me a whiff, the sample convinced me: it smells super feminine and sweet, just like the JLo one. I’d recommend it for everyday wear.
It’s very delicious. Truthfully, I’ve had quite a few letdowns with celebrity perfumes, but this one I’ve liked quite a bit. It’s sweet and fruity, highly recommended for the summer. I certainly recommend it.
Live Luxe! It’s a very fun fragrance and I was surprised, as honestly I didn’t expect much. Incredibly, it lasts many times longer than some high-end ones; the scent lingers on clothes for days. It’s super fresh, perfect for hot days. I suppose what I perceive as pineapple is actually peach; the lilies give that subtle touch every fragrance needs, leaving vanilla on the skin for many hours. Finally, the amber and sandalwood make it sexy. To conclude the day… I like it very much and recommend it to lovers of fresh and bold scents.
It smells rich, very fresh and sweet. The bottle is beautiful and smells of pineapple and caramel, very delicious.
I was very curious to try it, but I think I set my expectations too high. It’s a lovely and very refreshing scent, but I couldn’t get hooked. It’s not innovative for me; it reminds me a lot of RL’s Ralph, just with less longevity, potency and trail. It’s fine for very hot days if you’re looking for freshness for everyday wear.
It’s almost identical to Ralph, but this leans more towards apple shampoo, while Live Luxe highlights the varied fruity notes more.
I bought it blindly and initially thought it smelled cheap. To be honest, it’s not my style; I prefer florals or orientals for more mature people, not youthful things. I sought it for summer because my perfumes were for cold weather and I don’t like citrus, so I chose a fruity one. Over time, it seemed ideal for the heat and I love it, despite my initial opinion. Many people have asked me about it, something that doesn’t happen with more expensive perfumes. I recommend it highly; it’s perfect for summer.
I bought it based on good reviews and it was a disaster. Upon application, it smells just like Ralph, but after a few minutes, only a gum-like scent remains. Then Ralph returns, but mutated. It’s strange. I wouldn’t buy it again.
An intense and long-lasting fruit cocktail in a striking bottle. Melon and peach stand out. I like it, but at first it satiates me a little. I wonder if JLo’s Live is the same. I’ve been tempted to buy it several times.
Marvellous! What a delightful surprise, Live Luxe. It’s exquisite, sparkling, fresh, fruity and juicy. It resembles Ralph, but that melon note is delicious. I’m happy with the purchase: it’s economical, lasts a long time and has a good trail. Plus, the bottle is dreamy. It’s now one of my summer favourites.
It’s a lovely perfume, though nothing revolutionary. It smells of things I already know, but I admit it puts me in a good mood for enduring the heat in summer. I only wear it then; it’s cheerful and refreshing. I liked it, but I didn’t fall in love with it; it has a sweet fruity touch.
Pure peach. Very fruity and delicious. I adore this fragrance. It’s perfect for summer.
The opening is exquisite, pure fruit. The bottle and box are divine, but it lasts a breath; after thirty minutes, there’s no scent left. A shame because it smells so delicious.
Fruity and sweet. I detect a passionfruit note and it’s very long-lasting. Recommended for daytime wear.
To me, it smells of sweet peach, very summery. It’s very similar to Ralph and lasts about six hours on my skin.
It’s a wonderful fruit cocktail in a lovely iridescent bottle. Excellent value for money. Perfect for spring and summer days. Lasts a medium amount of time, between four and six hours, which is a pity as it could last longer.
I hoped it would smell like fresh melon as I read in the reviews. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s nothing like what I expected. I find it very synthetic for my taste.
I just bought it blind and I loved it: it’s sweet, fresh and fruity… plus the bottle is gorgeous. I would buy it again!
Very rich, though not identical, it’s in the style of Ralph Lauren’s Ralph and Dolce & Gabbana’s L’Emperatrice, but here the protagonist is the melon (at least on my skin). They are sweet, fruity, relaxing, youthful and summery, perfect for informal and hot days, but none last more than two hours. Still, given the quality-price ratio, I think it’s the best of the three.
Fresh and cheerful, I would buy it again without hesitation. I remember its fragrance perfectly; the melon is delicious. It has good sillage and always gets me compliments.
I absolutely love it! Perfect for summer, on my skin it notes melon, peach and amber, with no pear or vanilla. It reminds me so much of Ralph, almost like its twin sister but at a much better price; here Ralph costs as a recent launch, so Live is the perfect alternative.
I’m looking for this perfume; I’m offering an exchange for full-size Fantasy or Private Show by Britney Spears (both unopened).
I bought it blind based on recommendations; to be honest, I didn’t like it. I didn’t smell the pear; it’s simply sweet, like the perfumes in old catalogues, nothing new, it smells like a lady. I gifted it and wouldn’t buy it again.
I bought it blind in a moment of impulse, looking for fruity options, and immediately knew it wasn’t for me; I think it’s the melon note combined with the others. I find it a grossly fruity aroma, like a supermarket cologne for girls, with no nuances or evolution. So simple, plain, and common. Perhaps it’s because I dislike it, but I have to admit it has a strong trail and longevity. I’m keeping the bottle saved for a gift or to decant gradually, but I don’t plan to use it.
What a delightful perfume, very fruity and fresh.
When I was 14, my dad bought it for me; I used it throughout secondary school, right in 2006 when it launched. It ran out, and I never bought it again until now. I’m 31, and using it again transported me back to that era. I wanted to buy it but hesitated over whether it smelled the same with the reformulations, so I decided to give it a chance, and here I am, amazed once more by this delicate, fresh, and feminine aroma. On my skin, it smells like caramelised pineapple, although I know it doesn’t contain pineapple; it has that sweet fruity touch. It’s so fresh and relaxing; despite having vanilla, it’s not overpowering. The downside is that it doesn’t last long on the skin; it faded after four hours, so you’ll need to reapply, but on clothes I could still detect it. From then on, everything is fine; next time I’ll buy the set with the cream. Ideal for any occasion.
The bottle is more showy than elegant. The fragrance is fresh, sweet, and fruity, suitable for daytime in warm weather and, in my opinion, for younger girls. It persists well and has an acceptable trail. The great flaw is that it’s a bland fragrance; it doesn’t stand out and seems like I’ve smelled it a thousand times before. That’s why I rate it as indifferent, because I can’t forgive that in a perfume.
Undoubtedly a good alternative to Ralph for the price; it’s enjoyable and worth it. The trail is soft but noticeable, and it lasts about 5 to 6 hours, which is quite a lot nowadays, considering that scent quality often takes precedence over longevity. I certainly recommend it; don’t hesitate, girls!
Fresh and ozonic, with a strong freesia from the start and that pear just right, plus a touch of lily of the valley and a faint hint of melon, thankfully subtle. The musk makes it dry down cleanly, ideal for warm climates. The vanilla doesn’t dominate; the amber and sandalwood don’t appear on my skin. It’s economical but doesn’t smell cheap; it’s not the eighth wonder, but it’s not bad either. It lasts well, and the trail in the first hour is top-notch. If you like fruity scents, buy it for the price, and if you love Paris Hilton, you’ll adore it. My skin is a privilege; it lasted over twelve hours even after a shower.
I bought it blind and I think I either idealised it or confused it with another flanker, but it’s not what I expected. It smells very sweet and fruity, like those Fructis face masks; it feels like a girl’s fragrance. I don’t detect any flowers, only fruit, and it seems quite artificial. I’m not sure whether to gift it or if it would work well with layering, but it tires me out because it’s offensively sweet. The only saving grace is the bottle, one of the most beautiful I’ve seen.
It’s a fruity bomb that everyone loves, like a juicy watermelon without being cloying. It lasts 4 or 5 hours and, for the price, it’s an absolute bargain.
