Descripción

Sheer by Bebe is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2010, this composition was created by Claudette Belnavis and Jean Jacques. The top notes evoke an immediate freshness with red apple and citrus, while the floral heart unfolds with freesia, peony, and jasmine. The base settles on musk, sandalwood, and amber, closing the olfactive structure with elegance.

I use it daily without great pretensions, simply because it smells good and is worth it. I’m surprised no one has reviewed it, as although it’s floral-fruity and cheap, it doesn’t smell generic. The opening is citrusy and fresh, the apple is barely noticeable and passes quickly. The middle notes of jasmine, freesia, and peony are well combined; the base is soft but persistent, with musk, sandalwood, and a touch of amber that doesn’t weigh down. On Fragrantica they say it doesn’t smell cheap and is youthful, and they’re right. The only drawback is that it doesn’t last, but on my skin it lasted 6-8 hours. The trail is soft at first and then stays close to the skin, although I can still smell it until 10. Ideal for work or informal outings, it makes me feel fresh and feminine. It’s not a masterpiece, but it delivers: it reminds me of Bright Crystal by Versace, but without those discordant notes that on my skin make the Versace sound synthetic. Bebe Sheer is a better investment at half the price and even surpasses the original Bebe.

  • I fell in love with the bottle and the price, but the magic broke when it dried on my skin. The initial notes are nice, but then it leaves a strange scent that I don’t recognise. For those who like it, it’s perfect due to the low cost, but I’m passing for the moment. Perhaps I’ll try it again, but I probably end up gifting it.

  • I bought it delighted by the beautiful bottle and attractive price. Upon spraying, I liked the opening notes, but once it settled on my skin, I disliked it greatly; I perceive a strange scent nothing like others. For those who like it, well, for the low cost, but for now, I’m passing. I’ll try giving it another chance, but it’s likely I’ll end up gifting it away.

  • I absolutely love it; it’s ideal for everyday wear. The best thing is the price – it’s not expensive at all. The scent isn’t generic; it’s not overpowering or overly common. It works brilliantly all year round and is perfect for the office where you don’t want to overwhelm anyone. The longevity is good; it sticks to the skin (though others may find it fades faster, for me it lasts, and I’m quite demanding). I’d recommend it, although personally I don’t feel a hundred per cent connected to it, so I wouldn’t necessarily buy it myself. Just a note: it reminds me a bit of Versace Bright Crystal, which I dislike because of its synthetic smell. It’s worth it if you’re looking for something fresh and floral-fruity.

  • I think it’s an adorable and excellent fragrance for everyday wear. The best thing is its price, which isn’t expensive, and its scent, which isn’t generic or overpowering. It suits any season and is ideal for offices where you don’t want to bother others. It has good longevity on my skin, although others say it doesn’t last as long for them. I recommend it, although personally it doesn’t convince me 100% because it reminds me of Bright Crystal by Versace, which I don’t like because it sounds synthetic to me. It’s worth it if you’re looking for something fresh and floral-fruity.

  • It is a very soft, tender, and romantic fragrance, with floral notes and a sweet touch. It’s youthful and perfect for the day, although I don’t recommend it at night because it fades too quickly.

  • It’s fresh, floral, and citrusy fruity, smells good and is very soft. It doesn’t have much trail or fixation; for me, I can detect strawberries and a citrus that I’m not sure if it’s orange or sweet lemon. Among the florals, I could note jasmine with a touch of rose. It’s pleasant and cheap (to a certain extent), but… it smells exactly like the ‘Guess for Women’. It strikes me that even the bottles have the same glass concept wrapped in metal, only one has a ‘G’ letter and the other a heart. Unfortunately, the Guess used to be my favourite and I wore it daily, until one day I couldn’t stand it. I don’t know the reason, it simply gave me a headache when smelling it; I didn’t even finish the bottle, I threw it away. I hope the Bebe Sheer doesn’t happen to me the same way it did with the Guess.

Super soft and feminine fragrance, ideal for everyday wear. I find it a bit citrusy and very floral, perfect for summer; it smells like fresh flowers with a citrus touch. The trail isn’t the best, I just applied it and it only smells of skin. The longevity isn’t the best either, but for the price, I suppose it’s worth it. Worth mentioning that I got the set with body mist, the miniature, and the large 100 ml for 700 Mexican pesos. I give it 6 out of 10 🌸

Updating my last review: do not buy it or spend your money. Literally, it lasts a breath on the skin; even a Victoria’s Secret Body Splash or any other brand lasts longer than this. The scent is nice, smelling of fresh roses with a bubbly touch, but the truth is it doesn’t last an hour on me. I recommend it not at all; there are perfumes that are equally economical but much better.

  • Sparkling beyond belief, a mix of tropical mango and a super feminine peony that turns into a refreshing talc on the skin. It’s very economical, ideal for gifting regardless of age; it’s a fragrance I owned and want to use again once I’m in my thirties. Mine came with a lovely keyring, lasted a long time, and I adored it. Furthermore, it complimented me, which rarely happens, and with a good spritz, it lasts until the end of the day, something also rare for me.

  • It’s a spark bomb: a tropical mango and super feminine peony that on my skin turns into a refreshing talc. Very economical! If you don’t know what to gift, regardless of age, it’s a fragrance I’ve had and want to own again in my thirties. Mine came with a lovely keyring, lasted for ages, and I loved it to bits. Plus, it flattered me, which is rare for me, and with a good spritz it lasts until the end of the day (something that almost never happens).
