  It might seem simple, mainstream, and even unworthy of Amouage. Yes, it’s more commercial than scents like Guidance. But it’s super palatable and far more complex than it appears. It starts fruity and sweet, then moves to a powdery floral with spices: a lively ginger contrasting with soft cinnamon. On my skin, it’s creamy, almond-y, and talcum-like (thanks to the heliotrope), and I love it, even if I’m not a fan of almond. It’s not gourmand, but it’s sweet and almost edible. As it dries down, the cypriol adds a mentholated touch that rounds it off perfectly. In short: delicious, palatable, not groundbreaking but not simple either. It’s feminine and super versatile for almost the whole year. It lasts over 8 hours with moderate projection. At the original price, I wouldn’t buy it; it’s expensive. But if I find it on sale, I wouldn’t rule it out.

  Love Delight is understated for an Amouage. It’s not groundbreaking, but the note combination sounds particular. It opens with sparkling tangerine, then evolves into something warm yet refreshing, where cinnamon, jasmine, and a prominent vanilla are accompanied by dusty heliotrope. I haven’t detected more notes in two uses, though cocoa might be reinforcing the heliotrope. Like other Amouage fragrances, it has that sharp edge which must be the fixative. The trail is strong for the first two hours before settling. It lasts around 10 hours on my skin. I liked it; it’s good for spring, summer (if it’s not too hot), and autumn, but it hasn’t won me over. Scent 6/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 3/10, Versatility 6/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? No.

On my skin, it is creamy, almond-y, and powdery (thanks to the heliotrope), and I love it, even though I’m not usually a fan of almond. It isn’t gourmand, but it is sweet and almost edible. As it dries down, the cypriol adds a mentholated touch that rounds it off perfectly. In summary: delicious, enjoyable, not groundbreaking but not simple either. It is feminine and super versatile for almost the whole year. It lasts over 8 hours with moderate projection. I wouldn’t buy it at the original price as it is expensive, but if I find it on sale, I wouldn’t rule it out.

  For an Amouage, it is light and easy to wear. Very versatile. The first spray smells of tangerine, heliotrope, cinnamon, vanilla, and cocoa, a sweet treat that I loved. It smells rich. The only downside is that it doesn’t project much, but it is ideal for any day; it doesn’t need cold weather to work.

The only downside is it doesn’t project much, but it’s ideal for any day; you don’t need cold weather for it to work.

  It’s gorgeous, versatile, with a sweet and feminine note. That soft rose is very noticeable, nothing aggressive, blending with flowers and sweets in a luxurious way. On my skin, vanilla and cacao take the lead. I’d love to detect more rum, but it doesn’t happen. The longevity isn’t brutal, but its charm is on another level.

  Well, it’s wearable. It doesn’t give me goosebumps, nor do I feel like smelling it again. However, be aware: the opening is cinnamon and citrus, an original touch that gives it its own signature.
