Smells divine, a rich vanilla with a super subtle incense base, but the longevity is like a baby’s cologne without alcohol 😐. It’s a beachy perfume in the style of Guerlain Terracotta, with that vibe of coconut and sun.
Love at first sniff. Simply delicious. It’s floral, sweet, with a slightly spiced base and a hint of ginger heat. I love it. Definitely my next purchase.
I tested it on blotter and went crazy. At first I noticed something citrusy and distinct, but once on the skin it smells of creamy vanilla, quite normal, almost identical to my favourite, Prada Paradoxe. After a few minutes the citrus note returns and the hibiscus becomes more apparent; the more it evolves, the more I’m hooked. The trail is good.

Red Hibiscus is one of my favourite Jo Malone scents. A very sunny, spring and summer floral aroma. It has a lovely spicy ginger note at the start, followed by a fleshy, dense heart, predominantly floral with jasmine as the star, resulting in something tropical yet vanilla, warm and ambered. Comparing it to others in my collection… it’s as if The Only One Intense and L’Interdit Rouge had a child. I loved it so much I dared to buy it, but oh, surprise: the curse of this house continues (at least on my skin). Its longevity doesn’t exceed 2-3 hours; after that, it’s almost non-existent on the skin. Considering the price and that it’s from the ‘Cologne Intense’ line, it seemed unacceptable to me, so I’ve removed it from my collection. I encourage you to try it, because if you have more luck than me with the performance, it’s a gem.
A real treat, I find it feminine and versatile; it’s hard to imagine anyone not liking it. I think I’d wear it all year round, though in extreme heat it might feel a bit heavy. I adore Jo Malone perfumes; they seem perfect and feel so well-made, but unfortunately they don’t last long. It projects better on clothes; with about eight sprays, you’ll definitely catch it on the skin all day, though not as much. It suits dates, casual events, day or night. It’s a beautiful fragrance and if you liked Scarlet Poppy, you’ll surely love this one. Worth a try.
A real treat, very feminine and versatile; almost anyone who smells it will like it. I think I’d wear it all year round, though in peak heat it might feel a bit heavy. I adore Jo Malone perfumes; they seem perfect and feel so well-made, but unfortunately their longevity is poor. It projects better on clothes, and with about eight sprays, you’ll definitely catch it on the skin throughout the day, albeit subtly. It suits dates or casual events, day or night. It’s a beautiful fragrance, and if you liked Scarlet Poppy, you’ll probably love this too. Worth a try.
