It smells like a combination of 1M and 212 VIP, so to speak, another offspring of Mrs Carolina and Mr Paco. Trail and durability are average; for the price, you can reapply without remorse, and the aroma feels of good quality, a thousand times better than the nauseating pirate copies of both parents. Perfect for a party, a night out, and all kinds of festive occasions. That said, the scent is well-worn, but fine; it smells good, which is what matters. Everyone adds certain nuances depending on their skin type and personality.
Smells like a mix between One Million and 212 VIP, another offspring of the Lady Carolina and Mr Paco. Sillage and longevity are moderate, but for the price, you can reapply without guilt, and it smells a thousand times better than those nauseating pirate copies. Perfect for a night out, a party night, and any kind of nocturnal celebration. The scent is clichéd, but it smells good, which is what matters. Everyone adds their own nuances based on their skin and personality.
Well, it reminds me of something like Cuba Royal. I don’t have the 1M or 212 VIP, so I’m not sure if they resemble each other, but it reminds me more when worn close to the skin, in a clingy way; in the air, it smells with its own style, I suppose the cinnamon does great work to recall those fragrances. Trail and longevity are normal, tending towards seven hours, so there’s nothing to complain about, although I need to try it more. I got it along with the Zara Man Silver, which has the identical bottle for just £12.95, three euros more. I wouldn’t use it with much heat, but for fresh summer nights, yes. Conclusion: Recommended, especially with that juicy pack.
Reminds me of Cuba Royal. As I don’t own One Million or 212 VIP, I’m not sure if they’re similar, but to me, it clings to the skin more and has its own style in the air; I suppose the cinnamon does the dirty work. Sillage and longevity are average, around seven hours, so there’s no need to complain. I picked it up alongside Zara Man Silver, which has an identical bottle for just €12.95, three euros more. I wouldn’t wear it in much heat, but for cool summer evenings, yes. Verdict: recommended, especially with that bundle.
I decided to buy it online after reading and hearing good reviews, so I went for it. The truth is, I’m not regretting it; it’s quite good, very similar to the 1M without a doubt; I compared them on each wrist. Note that the opening isn’t similar, but after 10-15 minutes, the 1M is felt. Longevity is about 4 hours; I’d add a fifth; it sits very close to the skin. Trail drops from moderate to low: moderate at the start, then very low. Cost-benefit: I paid for the double pack with the Silver for 350 pesos MX, meaning less than £200 each. Quite a good price for a fragrance similar to a big brand, with good trail and longevity. An option for those who don’t want to spend much but want to smell good.
I only notice the cinnamon; it’s abundant and very strong. After two hours, it loses strength and becomes more pleasant, but not much more. I didn’t like the fragrance at all.
I think it’s a good fragrance for the price; it has quite a resemblance to the 1M PR or 212 VIP CH. Its trail is very poor, but for days when you want to go unnoticed yet smell rich, it’s perfect. For $20, you get a duo. Scent: 8/10, Trail: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10, Price: 9/10.
Well, what can I say about this sweet fragrance… it’s very similar to One Million Privé Mandarin. The cinnamon isn’t identical but heads in the same direction; it’s very similar. It brings compliments and is much liked by young women. I would buy it again; the price is unbeatable: $16 and we’re already in 2019.
I just tried it and the first impression is that it’s a combination of notes I like. I enjoy spiced perfumes, and this is one. In the opening, I notice citrus and cinnamon with a sweet touch, very gourmand. I don’t detect pepper. Soon after, nutmeg and woods come in, and it stays there, which is good because I don’t like smelling like a cake. The gourmand effect disappears quickly, leaving the spices and woods, which I appreciate. As a proposal, it’s not bad at all, but it suffers from the same issue as the Zara ones (except Vibrant Leather): poor trail and low performance. It lasts very little, but as a daily eau de toilette, it’s not bad. After half an hour, it sits close to the skin as a pleasant base. I know Spicebomb by Viktor & Rolf, and Man Uomo resembles it in notes (cinnamon and nutmeg), but Spicebomb lasts 24 hours and justifies its price. It’s a pity that Man Uomo is so brief, but at that price, what can you expect?
It goes without saying that it resembles the 1M, 212 VIP, and similar scents, which I find heavy, unwieldy, and overused, making the aroma feel unspecial and very recognisable. However, Zara Uomo has a plus: it’s not so potent, making it more versatile (though I doubt it works in summer or heat, but for the rest of the year, day or night, it’s perfect). If you like the perfumes mentioned, you’ll likely like this too (except for the typical alcoholic opening that lasts about 5 minutes). The cinnamon stands out as it dries, along with other spices in the background, perhaps nutmeg. It has its own personality, seeming more like a variation than a pure clone. Longevity is good in cold climates: 5-6 hours with moderate projection of 1-2 hours. Sold in a pack with Zara Silver (100ml) for under £13 together, it’s not bad at all. Best regards.
It’s undeniable that it bears a great resemblance to One Million, 212 VIP, and similar scents, which I find heavy, unwieldy, and overused, making the aroma feel unspecial and too easy to recognise. However, Zara Uomo has a characteristic that makes it more wearable: it’s not as potent, so it’s more versatile (though I doubt I’d wear it in summer or heat, but for the rest of the year, day or night, it works well). If you like the previous ones, you’ll likely like this too (except for the typical alcoholic opening that lasts five minutes). The cinnamon stands out in the dry down, along with other base spices, perhaps nutmeg. It has its own personality; it doesn’t seem like a total clone, but rather a variation. Longevity is good in cold climates, lasting 5-6 hours with moderate projection of 1-2 hours. Sold in a pack with Zara Silver for under €13, it’s not bad at all.
I was so eager to find an affordable alternative to One Million, but what a letdown. After my success with Zara Man Silver, I dared to buy two 30ml bottles of Man Uomo and Man Gold. Man Uomo opens violently and rudely, very potent cinnamon, lots of spices, and a slight citrus touch; to me, it’s a nose-bleed. After two and a half hours, it becomes friendly and starts to remind me slightly of One Million, lasting another three hours close to the skin. Longevity: 7, Projection: 8, Sillage: 8, Price: 8 (I bought the 30ml version to test it; only then is it worth it). Rating: 7.75. I recommend trying it first; if you’re looking for something similar to One Million, it could be an option, but if it doesn’t suit you, save your money and buy the original. Personally, I don’t recommend it.
I was really keen on finding something cheap and similar to One Million, but I was hugely disappointed. After my success with Zara Man Silver, I dared to buy two 30ml bottles of Man Uomo and Man Gold. Man Uomo opens violently and aggressively, with very potent cinnamon, lots of spices, and a slight citrus note; it hurts my nose. After two and a half hours, when the projection drops, it becomes more friendly and then vaguely resembles the 1M as a skin scent for a few more hours. Longevity and projection: 8. Price: 8 (only worth it in 30ml to try). Overall rating: 7.75. If you’re looking for something similar to the 1M, it could be an option, but if it doesn’t suit you, save up and buy the original. Personally, I don’t recommend it.
Top fragrance. Although it’s a clone of One Million, it has details that appeal more to my nose. It features that classic, mature vanilla touch in the heart, reminiscent of Opium Men, and the blackcurrants are certainly noticeable. For the price, what it offers is incredible. I’m not a fan of the 1M, but I like its scent, so I prefer this and don’t want to pay a fortune for something so common, as it has that particular touch that makes me enjoy it more.
Top fragrance. Although it’s a clone of One Million, it has nuances that smell better to me. It carries that classic, mature vanilla touch, reminiscent of Opium Men (I’m sure the blackcurrants are there). For the price, what it offers is incredible. I’m not a fan of the original, but I enjoy its scent, so I’d rather pay less for something with that particular twist that makes it more enjoyable.
Violent opening that turns subtle, peppery scent and then it turns grey. Less bright than Halloween, only if you stop to analyse it. Perfect for these cold winter nights. The wood becomes present when the mandarin disappears.

I love the scent, I give it a 10. It’s very similar to Paco Rabanne’s One Million, but the Zara one has a different note, let’s say they’re 90% alike. Where they differ most is in longevity and trail, a real shame. This Zara one doesn’t last me more than an hour; I’ve tried many ways, even 20 sprays on skin and clothes, and nothing, there’s no way.
I’m very tired of One Million and wouldn’t buy it again, but this Zara one is very similar and for three euros I got the 30ml version. Whenever I want to recall the original, it does the trick without having to spend on the real version.
I liked its scent when I passed Zara, then I found out it was a clone of One Million that I hadn’t used. Once I bought the original, I put it aside, but when I do use it, I spray it until I’m exhausted. Aside from being an imitation, it barely lasts a couple of hours on the skin and close to the pulse.
I liked the scent when I passed Zara, then I found out it was a clone of One Million which I had never used. Once I bought the original, I stopped using it; when I do use it, I spray it until I’m out, I can’t wait for it to run out. Aside from being an imitation, it barely lasts a couple of hours on skin and up close.
I bought it for my boyfriend on 14 February. I don’t know much about men’s perfumes, I only like the classic Hugo Boss, but this Zara one made me ecstatic, it smells delicious (I had to try it myself 😁 hehe). The first thing I noticed was the cinnamon, a bit strong but not synthetic; over time I identified the pepper and although it doesn’t contain lavender, I sensed a bit of it too. In short, it smells delicious. I’m eagerly awaiting Valentine’s Day to give it to him and enjoy it with hugs and kisses. I’m not sure exactly about the longevity; I went for a shower after an hour, but I think it will last around four hours. For me, as a woman and perfume lover, it’s a delight.
An alternative to Paco Rabanne’s One Million, very well executed with that characteristic peppery note, slightly sweet but not overdone. Longevity is decent, five to six hours. Zara perfumes don’t stand out for longevity and this is no exception; if you want it to last, give it a good few sprays. 8/10.
Nice scent. I bought it as a dupe for One Million. It has some resemblance, but it’s far off from the original’s level. Projection isn’t the best, but it serves for simple occasions. You can’t ask for more given its price.
I wear it a lot on normal days, but in the cold it’s good for evening. Since it resembles 1 Million, it doesn’t stand out as much. It has good longevity, lasting me eight hours with moderate projection.
Nice fragrances for autumn and spring. Longevity is perfect. I tried it in the middle of summer and it lasted eight hours. Price in Chile: $26.
In short, it’s the classic 1 Million at a bargain price. I wouldn’t recommend it for 2026 as it smells dated and lacks a modern edge. Longevity is average, around five hours with a trail for the first hour; you need more than seven sprays for it to last. If you like the DNA of the original, it’s worth it for the quality-to-price ratio.
