It reminds me of Paco Rabanne Black XS; they share several notes: Brazilian rosewood, patchouli, and cardamom.
It’s an oud and lemon combo that smells like pineapple to me, but not the sweet kind, rather the citrusy variety. The moss and tobacco round it off, leaving a dry-down that is woody, green and acidic, as the lemon never really fades. It might remind you a bit of Aventus for that smoky and citrusy touch, but they are not the same. It lasts quite a while and the projection is normal. It doesn’t smell bad, but it hasn’t done much for me.
It is an oud + lemoncello combo that smells like pineapple to me, but citrusy rather than sweet. The moss and tobacco complete the fragrance, drying down to wood, green, and citrus because the lemoncello never goes away. It may remind one of Aventus due to the smoky and citrusy touch, but they are not the same. It lasts quite a while with average projection. It does not smell bad but it left me unimpressed.
As Sibarita says, Oud Immortel is identical to Black XS, but a niche version at an exorbitant price of €160 for 50ml. Simply a total scam. Rating: 1.
Lemoncello + Black XS + earth/compost, that’s all. Very rarely have I washed my arm to remove a freshly applied perfume, but that happened with this one. The oud from this house is denigrating; it smells like the industrial earth found in plant pot sachets.
For the price, it is a rip-off; I would not buy it, though it does not disgust me or drive me mad. It has a vibe similar to Aventus, which I also like, but I still would not pay that exorbitant price. An acceptable perfume but excessively expensive.
This fragrance does not deserve its name; it is simply unpleasant. I would categorise it as ‘foul and repulsive’. Do not even think about wearing it on your skin: it won’t wash off. It does last, but if you want to leave a trail of ash and compost, use it.
I just tried it and absolutely loved it. It reminds me of a Cedrat Boise loaded with oud, nothing unpleasant about it, quite the opposite—it’s spectacular. It fits perfectly on my list.
This is Hacivat plus Oud, and they have turned it into a delight. The blend of lemon and cardamomo reminds me of pineapple, but not the sweet kind, rather the acidic sort, which together with the woods and smoke creates a very rich composition. The oud here is noble and easy to wear, and the lemon gives it a sharp character. Normal projection and good longevity.
Hacivat + Oud is a delight. The lemoncello with cardamomo smells like pineapple, but acidic rather than sweet; combined with the woods and smoke, the blend is incredible. The oud here is noble and easy to wear, adding a sharp character alongside the citrus. Projection is average but the longevity is good.
Oud Inmortel smells modern and masculine, with a versatile wood note suitable for both casual wear and going out. It opens with an acidic, bitter lemoncello driven by ambroxan, reminiscent of Promise by Frederic Malle. There is no real oud here, but rather dry, green patchouli mixed with aged wood and Cashmeran, giving it a subtle smoky tobacco nuance. I really like it; it’s a good fragrance for mild or cold days. Cheers!
Oud Inmortel smells modern, masculine and woody, with good performance and great versatility. It is casual enough for everyday wear, yet classy enough for special occasions. It opens with a lemon accord thanks to those citrus notes and a dose of ambroxan that adds acidity and a slight bitterness, reminding me of Promise by Frederic Malle. There is no oud despite the name, but rather a very prominent patchouli that is dry, highly woody and with green touches. Kephalis, with its old wood scent, and Cashmeran, with its patchouli, reinforce that woody sensation which could be mistaken for oud, along with suggesting a tobacco note that I barely detect. I like it; it is a good fragrance and very usable in mild and cold seasons. Cheers.
