Smells like eighties ice cream, specifically FRIGURON by Frigo, with that smoky synthetic pineapple note that I absolutely love.

I’m not hooked by a note I can’t define, probably the amber (and I hate ambroxan). It smells like everything young people use and is overexploited, like Sauvage or One Million; that note repels me and takes the taste away from the rest, so I regret the purchase.

I don’t like it due to one note I can’t quite define; I think it’s the amber (and I hate ambroxan). It smells like all the fragrances in this style worn by young people that are trendy, like Sauvage, One Million, or Invictus. That note repels me and prevents me from enjoying the rest. I bought it and regret it.

I bought it blindly because it was on sale during Black Friday and I saw reviews on YouTube, but it was a total let-down. Not only do I dislike the scent, it gives me a headache, and others do too. I can’t pinpoint the note; I’m new to this, but something about the dry-down doesn’t convince me. Perhaps it’s for older people; at 24, I haven’t liked it at all, what a pity.

I bought it blindly on Black Friday and jumped in based on the reviews, but it has been a total failure. Not only do I not like the smell, but it gives me a headache, and others do too. I don’t know which note it is, but something at the end doesn’t convince me. Perhaps it’s for more mature people; at 24 years old, I haven’t liked it at all.

At first, it’s odd; I wasn’t sure if I’d like it. The opening didn’t sit well with me, but ten minutes later, everything changed for the better. It becomes super fruity and sweet. It’s strong at first, then turns very pleasant. The dry-down is strange, but the settling process is the best part. Don’t buy blindly, but it smells delicious. Scent: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10, Projection: 7/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value for money: 9/10, Blind buy: 4/10. Ideal for spring and summer.

And pineapple? Haha. At first, it smells good, very fruity and sweet, with a slight spicy kick in the background. After an hour and a half, it calms down; the dry-down is lovely, sweet but not shouty, and the spice becomes more noticeable, along with some floral and dry leather notes. It feels synthetic but isn’t ugly. It lacks much dynamism and might get boring. Up close, it lasts until seven hours. For its price, it offers great value. It’s youthful, doesn’t smell like Invictus or One Million, starts strikingly and then becomes a good, quiet companion. Very versatile and pleasant to wear.

It’s quite good; it’s not a powerhouse, but I like it. It works well in the heat, though I think it would perform better in the cold. When I applied it, it reminded me of my Black XS, which has worse performance than the Paco Rabanne version, but considering the cost, it’s more than adequate.

After buying it blindly based on reviews, I find it notable. The opening is a bit odd and murky, but within minutes it settles into a sweet, powdery, and fresh scent, very pleasant, where the body note with violet takes precedence, accompanied by leather and pepper. I don’t perceive it as citrusy at all. Cool Heights has excellent projection for the first 3-4 hours and a wide sillage, although it fluctuates constantly, fading in and returning intermittently. The longevity is good; on my skin, 6-7 hours, going skin-deep from the fifth hour onwards. I see it as versatile for occasion and season. Highly recommended for the low price.

I bought it blindly based on the reviews and it has seemed notable to me. The opening is a bit murky and confusing, but within minutes it settles into a sweet, talc-like, and fresh aroma, where violet stands out with a touch of leather and pepper; nothing citrusy. Cool Heights projects well for the first 3-4 hours with a good trail, although it comes and goes in an intermittent fashion. The longevity is good, about 6-7 hours on my skin, until it drops to skin-level after the fifth hour. I see it as very versatile for any occasion and season. Highly recommended for the price.

Cool Heights from the ZARA New York collection opens with a citrus and fruity explosion, like sweet berries, cherries, and oranges with peel, as if it were pure juice. After trying it in the store, I waited 2-3 hours to see how it evolves. Although it reminds me a bit of Paco Rabanne’s Black XS at the beginning, it then takes another direction and becomes subtle, woody, and smoky. I have to be honest, it smells much better than I expected and is one of the most long-lasting I’ve tried at Zara. It lasts all day at the office, with a potent trail but without being annoying. It’s deep, elegant, and sophisticated, ideal for those seeking dark and complex nuances. Autumn is its reign, perfect for day and night.

Cool Heights is from the Zara New York collection, alongside White SoHo and Greenery. The opening is fruity and citrusy, fresh, with sweet berries, cherries, oranges, rinds, and a juice-like aroma. After testing it in-store, I took 2-3 hours to discover its evolution. It reminds me of Paco Rabanne’s Black XS only at the start, then it takes another path and becomes full of subtle woody and smoky nuances. To be honest, it’s of much better quality than I expected and is one of Zara’s most long-lasting. It lasts all day if worn for office; the sillage is good but not intrusive. For me, it’s deep, elegant, and sophisticated, for lovers of complex, dark, and smoky nuances. The colder autumn months are the best period, both day and night. ~ Claudio

A delightful surprise; of all the Zara scents, it’s the best in quality and longevity. It suits my skin well with a strong opening where leather and wood are already noticeable (and a hint of tobacco, even though it’s not listed). After 1-2 hours, the leather loses its punch and the floral tint emerges, a pleasant masculine tone, subtly sweetened by amber, with tonka bean noticeable in the base, which confuses things a bit. I agree with YezusPerfumo; the projection and sillage are moderate and intermittent, like Molecule 01, expressing itself when it wants to. It has superior quality for the cost; it’s well-designed. For those who like these notes, I recommend buying it before it gets discontinued, as Zara tends to do. It lasted hours skin-deep, with a pleasant scent that makes you want to bring your nose closer. It’s the first Zara fragrance that convinces me, and I recommend it. I prioritise quality and personal taste: if it’s cheap and I don’t like it, I won’t buy it; if it’s expensive and I love it, I’ll wait for the right moment (unless it’s madness like Creed’s Aventus, which is a bit of a disaster… although it has its fans). I invite you to test it; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It’s versatile, but I see it for autumn/spring and daytime use, though that’s personal.

Cool Heights is a delicious masculine fragrance, a blend of violet, prominent wood, and leather, with a bergamot opening that fades. Its characteristic is longevity and projection: the sillage is intermittent; you perceive it in bursts, then it disappears only to return when you thought it had gone. You can smell it up to seven hours later. It is created by Jerome Epinette, a perfumer who previously worked with Zara on Vibrant Leather, Vibrant Leather Oud, Greenery, and White SoHo. ~ YezusPerfumo

Cool Heights smells of violets with wood and leather, starting with bergamot that fades away. The best thing is its projection: in intermittent bursts that reappear when you think they’re gone, lasting up to 7 hours. Created by Jerome Epinette, who previously worked on Zara fragrances such as Vibrant Leather.

I can’t stop smelling it. For me, Cool Heights doesn’t surpass Vibrant Leather. The latter kicks off with a delicious citrus: acidic yet not bitter bergamot, paired with pineapple and ginger, like an iced lemonade over leather. Cool Heights lacks a clear top note; it’s more of an olfactory nebula where bergamot, pepper, and sweet florals make the opening feel like the base rather than the top. The high notes are more floral and spicy than citrus, sitting over a smoky leather that slowly fades. In Vibrant Leather, my nose detects that iced bergamot, pineapple, and ginger top note for much longer—refreshing, exquisite, and well-defined against the soft leather. In Cool Heights, it seems like base over base from the start, with nothing standing out, though it smells good (a smoky, spicy, sweet citrus). It’s warmer, sweeter, and more complex in its nuances, but lacks definition or roundness in my opinion.

I walked into Zara looking for Vibrant Leather and stumbled upon this gem. There’s been much talk about poor performance with that one, so before buying it, I sprayed it on my wrist. Next to it sat the Cool Heights bottle with its elegant, juicy blue, so I decided to try it on the other arm. Immediately, its citrus and spicy aroma captivated me, catching my attention from the start, and I left to continue shopping. An hour later, Vibrant Leather had vanished, but Cool Heights was still potent; it had already entered its second stage, a leather scent accompanied by floral notes projecting elegance and cleanliness. I returned to the store thinking that if it lasted four hours, it would be worth it for its ridiculous price. At home, my surprise was that after six hours, I was still catching whiffs of this fragrance. Personally, I recommend it for its price-to-quality ratio; it seems the perfumer heard all the criticism regarding Vibrant Leather’s longevity and improved upon it with this.
