  Our Love Letter in Eau Fraiche leaves behind those adolescent summer romances to step into a nostalgic autumn. The initial grapefruit and ginger evolve into a juicy plum and blueberry jam, slightly tart. The cypress stays, refreshing it with its unique woodiness, like a stroll through the woods at the end of September. The floral heart, previously fresh jasmine, is now a creamy, sweet, and powdery gardenia with a soft iris note. The woody base of sandalwood and patchouli adds depth and maturity. Here, the sweetness and creaminess of the white flowers dominate against the initial fruitiness, although the plum and blueberry remain in the background. It reminds me of Feerie and Midnight Fantasy but without that vanilla base. It is very sweet, feminine, soft, intimate, and powdery. Very warm and romantic, with a touch of longing. Longevity and sillage are nearly 4 hours on the skin, being an EDT. Ideal for autumn and winter. The bottle is shaped like an envelope with the name and a seal. Although the name is in French, the silver cap reads in English: ‘…and this is why I am writing to you, my love… Speak to me of love one more time…. When summer comes to an end and with it, your sweet love. When you wish it wouldn’t hurt anymore and you ask a good friend to tell you stories of love with happy endings. To make you believe it still exists. To help you regain faith and hope with lovely poems and songs. There will be other summers to warm your heart.
