I’d been looking for something like this for ages. I bought a vial thinking it might be cloying and overly sweet, but it surprised and pleased me more than expected. It’s a scent I want to wrap myself in: pleasant, sensual, soft yet with personality. On my skin the longevity is high; I can still smell it after 14 hours, even on clothes. It reminds me a lot of Rochas Tocade, one of my favourites. I don’t perceive it as fruity floral, but rather as a musky floral. In the end, it leaves a fragrance of roses and white flowers with a soft, powdery vanilla. Without a doubt, I’ll be asking for it from the Kings.
Let’s break it down: Price: very good. The combination of an affordable price with a prestigious brand is a huge selling point. I bought it for this without even smelling it or reading reviews. The bottle is sober, elegant, and has a flirtatious touch; it’s timeless and can suit all kinds of women. The name seems a bit odd to me, but it suggests ballerina pirouettes. The bottle evokes a pointe shoe or a ballerina in a tutu (the advertising confirms this). The fragrance is a tender floral with a slightly cloying sweetness that turns spicy over time. It’s not cloying and I’d wear it across a range of women of different ages. It has personality; it’s distinctive without going overboard. Its main flaw is the lack of longevity and sillage; on my skin it fades quickly and on clothes it lasts a bit longer but weakened. If they fixed that, it would be a great perfume for this price.
I absolutely love it! I never get tired of it. To me, it’s a delicious and delicate fragrance, like a ballet pirouette. Its longevity and sillage are just right; I think if it were stronger it would lose its magic.
I absolutely love it. It’s a sweet floral scent; while it doesn’t sound super original, within this family it smells recognisable. As Gatuna says, it opens with a fresh, sweet rose that over time becomes creamier and powdery. The longevity is spot on; I wear it to work and can still detect it right up against my skin by late afternoon. The only downside is that it’s been discontinued; what a pity, as it’s a very feminine Eau de Toilette with nothing shouty or sticky about it. I’ll miss it once my bottle is empty.
