I was surprised; normally I like affected florals or gourmands, but upon smelling the aroma, I felt it was delicate and consistent, even calming. Personally, I don’t like woody notes or patchouli, but here the scent is so delicate it’s as if the flowers were emitting a slight sweetness and freshness.
Due to the ‘angel wings’ logo and the very girly pink colour, I imagined a super gourmand fragrance with a kilo of sugar and two kilos more, but no. As a first impression, it seems like a very soft fruity floral fragrance, with a tiny powdery and elegant touch given by the iris. I also perceived a very warm rose in the middle of its development, alongside the patchouli and sandalwood. Very pleasant to my senses but it hasn’t convinced me 100%. I think I’ll get to know it better, see how it develops on me, and depending on that, I’ll decide whether to buy a small bottle. Average duration on my skin (4-5 hours) and a moderate trail, leaning towards soft. One of those that doesn’t overwhelm anyone and is felt from half a metre away.
It’s delicate, sweet but not cloying. I see it for women up to 45 years old, but especially for the 20 to 30 age range. Lasts about four hours at most.
Absolutely nothing to recommend, even though I wish other perfumes could last as long as this one. I only tried it in-store and it just doesn’t convince me; it’s far too serious and has a heavy, overpowering trail, which I don’t like. It feels a bit generic and very fresh, not as sweet as I expected. What a pity I don’t like it because it lasts for hours on my skin and days on clothes! Yes, you can tell there’s a touch of talcum powder, but I know it’s budget-friendly. If you like a strong perfume like ‘Amor Amor’, buy this one and you won’t regret it.
Nothing to do with it… though I wish other perfumes lasted as long as this one. I only tried it in the perfumery and it just doesn’t convince me; it’s very serious. Like it has a heavy trail, or well, when I smell it I feel that way, very potent, and I don’t like that much. It’s somewhat generic and very fresh, yes, but not as sweet as I expected. What a pity I don’t like it because on my skin it lasts hours and on clothes days! And yes, you can smell a slight powdery or talc-like scent when you get close. I know it’s economical but it’s not to my liking. If you like a strong perfume like ‘Amour Amour’, buy this one, you won’t regret it…
I stumbled upon this delight! Just to clarify, I uploaded the photo to show I’m reviewing the VARENS Reve in Gold URIC, with the same angel wing logo but in a white box. The main version in the pink box was on the tester and seemed sweeter and more powdery to me. Then I spotted the Reve in Gold version and oh!, the fragrance is very similar to Carlo Corinto’s Faire Follie, which I adore: fresh, fruity, floral, and not cloying. It doesn’t last more than six hours, but not as long as Faire Follie, and the Reve in Gold cost me approximately $8 USD.
A sweet aroma with a bitter touch. The iris note is quite prominent. It’s a conventional perfume; I’ve smelled that scent in a catalogue before. The dry-down on my skin leaves no extra notes. I bought it based on reviews because there was no tester in the store. It doesn’t last long on skin or clothes. My sister loved it so much I gifted it to her.
The packaging caught my eye and I bought the tester on the spot. It lasts about eight hours, keep in mind my skin loves this type of scent. It’s super light, nothing cloying or overly sweet; it’s floral, though at first it smells fruity, dry, and then settles into florals. I’d describe it as a lovely, girly perfume, perfect for everyday wear or going out with friends. It’s delicate; honestly, I feel like I’ve heard it before but also haven’t, so I suppose it’s quite uncommon.
Reve in Gold is my go-to perfume for sunny days. On my skin, the pink grapefruit and orange citrus notes explode with freshness.
