  • Another lovely fragrance from Carner Barcelona. Very sweet and creamy, but without falling into cloying territory, a dangerous zone it navigates with great skill. The cinnamon is quite pronounced, especially as it dries down. Cinnamon, saffron, nutmeg, and other spices with a base of vanilla, woods, and amber. Perhaps it contains synthetics, but it doesn’t transmit any excess artificiality; not at any point. Good quality is always perceived, or at least a certain crispness. Very pleasant, with good longevity and a moderate trail (perhaps too much). For those who appreciate distinguished, soft (but noticeable), and creamy perfumes without reaching gourmand levels. Recommended!

Hello drakecito@, I’m glad to read your opinion here and I really value your comments (they are very sensible). I have two questions: first, between Tardes and Rima XI, which do you recommend based on the notes (if you’ve tried both)? I lean towards the sweeter one, but I also have florals like Rose Oud from Monotheme. Second, I have serious doubts because I can’t test it myself regarding its longevity; it’s very important to me, just like its projection. I know author perfumes tend to be more intimate, but while I value that, I’m interested in others enjoying it too, especially given those prices.

  • Fascinating. Spiced and sweet in just the right measure, with cinnamon and mint to feel modern and fresh. It has everything without trying too hard. It seems honest, a little simple, but of extraordinary quality. It’s very well balanced. For me, it’s a little gem, one of those not everyone knows about that perfume lovers simply adore. It’s not vulgar or out of context like many niche scents; anyone can wear it regardless of age or gender. It’s delicious, very portable, with good longevity and a noticeable moderate sillage. Very versatile, although I feel it performs better in winter.

  • Rima IX 😌. Sweet but not overwhelming, it’s exactly on point. The cardamomo and mint give a spectacular opening. As it dries down, natural vanilla with cinnamon, benzoin, and sandalwood give a very well-balanced sweet touch. It’s exquisite. Even though I’m not a fan of gourmands, I think it will attract many people outside that style. Scent: 🪐🪐🪐🪐 Longevity: 🪐🪐🪐🪐

  • To me, it’s the best Christmas fragrance I’ve ever tried. It evokes that classic postcard of a wooden cabin with a fireplace and a tree. It’s clean, soft, and pleasant: spiced with just the right touch of sweetness, slightly woody and rubbery. It smells rich up close, ideal for that Christmas atmosphere.

  • I absolutely love it, it feels like a hug! It’s a personal treat, projecting almost nothing, but I adore it, especially in autumn.

The opening is spectacular, with that spiced chai note, but for me it loses its punch as it dries down; the dry-down becomes too powdery and soapy, slightly boring and ends up masking everything else.

The opening is brutal, smelling of spiced chai, but as it dries down it becomes very powdery and soapy; for me, it’s boring and drowns out everything else.
