  I picked up a 50ml bottle for €30 at the Encants in Barcelona, from my trusted ‘Sr desguace’. Honestly, it smells like a subtler version of Theorema. Initially, it’s very ‘orange’, spicy and woody, but then a floral note gains strength, blending with the typical scents of the original. It also has a slight wax pencil scent, which I associate with tangerine peel. As it dries down, it becomes more woody and slightly soapy. Comparing them side by side, they are quite similar, but this one is much softer, with that soapy touch the original lacks. It also misses the slightly sweet and burnt woody accord that, for me, is what makes the original special. It also reminds me a lot of Hermès Eau des Merveilles. Its projection is soft, not skin-scented, and lasts about six hours on my skin. It’s a very pleasant, slightly feminine unisex scent suitable for all year round, provided it’s not too hot, ideal for informal and semi-formal occasions, though it will surely shine more in the shoulder seasons.
