Very good perfume, spiced, cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco, ideal for winter. It is an elegant perfume that invites intimacy.
@Ikrr if you like it, use it without fear and without worrying about which audience it is directed towards.
A delicacy of an aroma; it is enjoyed immensely. It has an undeclared note of soft, easy-to-please leather that blends perfectly with a dark vanilla and a medley of spices. The issue with this perfume is the performance. I don’t know how it was before, but in current batches, 10 sprays are not enough for the perfume to accompany you for 7 hours… It reaches the 5th hour if you are generous. A pity. This perfume with good performance could be a must-buy…
Slightly sweet woody cinnamon. It is masculine due to the wood that is felt. I find it pleasant and interesting; the cinnamon is what is most noticeable, so you must like cinnamon and your surroundings too. You can tell the ingredients are of good quality. I think it is the best cinnamon perfume I have tried.
Finally, I can review it now that, after a long time out of stock, I can say it is worth it, but only if you find it at an appropriate price, as I have seen it sold for 180 USD, which seems exorbitant for something it is not worth. Well, speaking of the aroma, it has a quite pleasant scent at the start; the cumin feels very realistic. Personally, I didn’t like it at first because it smelled like sweaty clothes, but this scent lasts about 10 to 15 minutes. Then comes the scent that has so much hype: a rich, realistic vanilla with cinnamon, with a tobacco that doesn’t become annoying or mature, and the saffron gives it that floral touch. Final conclusion: buy it if you like warm and spiced scents at an appropriate price. As I said earlier, in my country, Chile, it costs a fortune to find, but in the end, some batches arrived at an average price of 90 to 80 USD.
The first hit is a blend of cinnamon, cumin and tobacco, a good warm spice that finally turns into an exquisite sweet tobacco opening. Whisky? I would say almost non-existent… In its dry-down it ends with vanilla and light tobacco, being quite pleasant to wear on cold nights and possibly cold days too. Fortunately, I have added it to my collection.
The truth is the opening doesn’t convince me; I notice it is too intense with a note that doesn’t smell right. However, every second that passes it improves, and after an hour or so, you can smell a delicious vanilla with cinnamon. It is masculine due to the wood and spice notes. I recommend trying it, and if you like the dry-down, buy it.
I bought it today and was hugely disappointed. This is not what I tested… When I tested it a month ago, the opening was strong, something like pepper or spices that knocked me back (literally), and once it dried, shortly after, it had a scent I adored. Today, with the bottle freshly opened, the opening smells more chemical/artificial/alcoholic, typical of cheap colognes, not strong at all. Previously, the opening didn’t suit me, but it was curious and had ‘clean’ notes without perceiving any chemistry. The dry-down always suited me more. The part I highlighted most is now more covered, and the sweetness reminds me at times of plasticine. It takes much longer to reach its ‘prime’. When I tested it a month ago, I loved it, as it was very similar to Initio Rehab, but much cheaper. Now, without being an expert, I would say the quality of the notes has generally dropped; it has drifted a little further from Initio Rehab and its EDT sister (previously I noticed them more similar). I think olfactory fatigue is preventing me from perceiving the trail well, but I believe it still smells strong, although with the notes that caught my attention fading, I understand it won’t stand out so much. I like it, yes. But I have disliked everything except what I tested. I would say it is more discreet, but it maintains good trail and longevity.
I love it; it has become my favourite perfume. It is creamier than the EDT version. I thought it would last less than the toilette, but the truth is its longevity is a little better. Perhaps it is the batch; I don’t know. But the opening is addictive, super spiced. It is a winter perfume, but now I wear it in spring and it performs well.
You can analyse or criticise it as much as you like, but one fact remains: this fragrance has elicited reactions from women that no other scent has managed to achieve. If several ladies, at different times, literally sigh, come up to smell it, and confirm that you smell delicious, then I have nothing more to say. A winning fragrance.
This fragrance has a problem that benefits it: it’s hard to get hold of. Why? Because they know that if they mass-produce it, they’d have to reformulate it to avoid losing money, and they know it succeeds by being scarce. Let me tell you a truth: it’s not the big deal; it’s like a Man in Black by Bulgari but a bit sweeter and less ‘serious’. Don’t go broke buying from resellers; their scent isn’t the big deal, believe me; you won’t miss anything; when it starts to be mass-produced, they’ll understand it’s just hype for being hard to get.
A genuine delight that I love returning to every winter. Initio clearly took inspiration from this line for their Rehab.
It’s incredible. A very good scent, the whisky is very noticeable; a very good perfume. I’d recommend using it daily, but that’s up to each person. Thanks.
Exquisite perfume with the vanilla, tobacco, and whisky combo. Very warm and cosy, good duration but not much projection. Ideal for dates, preferably late and especially at night, particularly in autumn and winter.
I’d been wanting to smell it for months and finally bought it blind online. I bought it alongside an Azzaro and wore both last night (one on each hand) to test them; damn it, the only thing I could smell when moving my hands was the Azzaro. It shocked me because the hype on social media said it was a Beast Mode with a heavy trail and a sexual bomb (according to CurlyFragrance), and it wasn’t that sensation. That said, I love the scent: spicy vanilla tobacco that opens strong and softens over time, smelling sweeter and more vanilla-like. But I’m concerned about performance; the Azzaro, being an EDT, still smells on my skin after 10 hours, while there’s no trace left of the Spicebomb. I suppose I’ll try more this weekend, but the first impression was disappointing. Update: correction, it’s a great perfume that doesn’t disappoint. As I was worried about performance, I was generous with the spraying. Bad idea; it started to sting my nose; next time I’ll be more measured. The scent still enchants me; that spicy vanilla tobacco that becomes sweeter is incredible, almost addictive. Curiously, my partner doesn’t like it, probably due to the strong spicy opening, but they’ll have time to give it another chance.
Designer niche perfume. A bomb of sweet spices, with a very present realistic cumin; I particularly love cumin but beware, not everyone will like it. I see it as a challenge and I love certain perfume challenges; I was super satisfied here. It’s a mainstream sweetness mixed with this challenging cumin; without the cumin, it would be a Paco Rabanne or something from the One Million line, but these spices make it unique. It arrived an hour and a half ago, I have it on my arm and it hasn’t lost intensity. I’ll update later on how long it lasted and projected.
I’ve had it for little while; I bought it blind trusting I’d like it, and it exceeded my expectations. It’s very different from what we smell daily: spicy opening, a spice bomb with just the right amount of sweetness (I don’t like very sweet fragrances). Ideal for standing out in cold climates. It’s dense, radiant, causes interest and compliments.
I bought it blind looking for these notes and now I have more sweet perfumes than fresh or versatile ones, but here goes: it smells of oriental spices, warm, sweet, and very masculine; I barely sense the boozy notes. I’ll let it macerate to see if it improves. I liked it but don’t recommend buying blind; I first heard it and thought it was an Arabic fragrance, turns out it’s the Odyssey Black by Armaf (a dupe of Tom Ford Noir Extreme), and yes, they smell the same. I hope it’s not a new batch and lasts a long time, as women adore it. I give it an 8.5/10; if maceration reveals the boozy notes like in Kismet Angel (a dupe of Angel Share at 99% for $30), I’ll bump the rating, but I loved it.
Solid if you catch it at the right price; right now, nothing really casts a shadow over it. Literally a bomb of pepper and vanilla. The quality matches what you pay, though I’d go for Initio Rehab, which is much better crafted and less strident.
I bought it blind after reading reviews and it was a mistake, especially since I already own the SB original. The Extreme lasts less, leaves a smaller trail, and smells almost identical; I prefer the original. I see they reformulated it after 2020, and my batch is from 2022. If I have to choose, I’d stick with the original blind.
It’s not quite as explosive as they say. However, it projects well and lasts as long as a fragrance should (8 hours). It fixes very well on my skin; I applied it before going to play ball, and upon finishing, it was still pulsing… My perception describes the cinnamon at its peak, very highlighted, followed by a calmer pepper and tobacco… I detect the cinnamon more up close, but it’s incredibly there. Anyway, an excellent perfume for cold nights; five sprays are about right…
Gentlemen, if you find Essencia de Flores Intense Man from Fragrance World, buy it; it smells exactly like this, with the caveat that it has an incredible price. I bought mine for $20, and what a tremendous perfume it is. 100% recommended.
After trying almost every flanker in the line, I finally got to wear this version and understood the hype surrounding Spicebomb Extreme. It’s an addictive marvel, a bomb of spices, tobacco, and vanilla that hooks you from the first spray. Its performance is acceptable: it lasts and projects enough, although personally, I’d like it to be even more impactful, given the potent profile it proposes. It’s one of those perfumes ideal for evening situations and dates, with a warm aura and extremely attractive. Undoubtedly, one of the most seductive and magnetic fragrances in this style. Highly recommended.
For me, a work of art… That vanilla with tobacco… combined with the cinnamon, they’re felt from the start. Excellent saffron heart; I first heard it in a department store in the USA. I just sprayed one on my wrist… and my whole car was filled with its rich scent. After 8-10 hours, I arrived home having showered, with my wrist clean, yet it still smelled faintly. Next week, I bought my own bottle. It’s heavy, but I’d even wear it for daily life, hahaha. Fantastic fragrance, 10/10.
The more I use it, the more I like it. You’ll smell of cinnamon and spices. I don’t detect much vanilla. As they say, it smells like Christmas.
I tried it yesterday at my trusted shop. What a fantastic fragrance. The cinnamon dominates quite a bit, and as the reviewer below noted, I don’t detect much vanilla. I must say, the perfume doesn’t seem as ‘party-focused’ as people claim, but rather elegant, suitable mainly for evening meetings. The longevity is quite good; I’m yet to analyse the projection. 10/10 to this one.
Wonderful perfume, delicious and perfect for night outs; don’t use it for meetings or similar occasions.
I first encountered this perfume at an airport in 2023, smelled it, and loved it, but it wasn’t within my budget at the time. Later, I searched for it, only to realise how difficult it would be to find in Chile. I’ve now had it for about six months and can say it’s a genuine gem, a fragrance to be used exclusively in cold environments (Winter / cold nights). The cinnamon, bourbon, and vanilla notes dominate, and it’s highly addictive. You won’t go unnoticed with this scent; plus, the longevity is brutal—at least for me, it easily lasts eight hours with just six sprays. In warmer climates, perhaps 25°C or above, it might become unpleasant; I’ve used it a couple of times in those conditions, and the bourbon becomes too prominent, turning slightly off-putting. It’s an ideal perfume for a date or dinner (not family gatherings). I wouldn’t wear it for meetings or daily use. For me, it’s a 10/10. Pity it’s so scarce.
Winter nights only, but an incredible option for that. It has it all: pleasant, personal, and unique. It’s not oversaturated because it’s hard to find (and a bit pricey for what isn’t niche, which is worth noting). It doesn’t have the potency it used to (they reformulated it), but it has (unlike the EDT, which feels weak) just the right performance to make an impression without being overwhelming. Many people are put off by the cinnamon note (quite perceptible as it dries and clings more to some skin types than others), and I understand that; however, I believe it’s one of the reasons it provokes such reactions from women. If this doesn’t get you compliments… then, for whatever reason, you simply weren’t born to receive them (no worries though: enjoy it anyway). Scent: 9 Projection: 7 Longevity: 7.5
What a beautiful fragrance, one of the best designer scents out there. Top-tier performance, very sexy and masculine; you’re sure to be showered in compliments. The only downside is I don’t see its versatility for everyday wear or the office. It’s the king of winter nights, pure sexiness.
A total disappointment. It happened to me as others say: the tester at El Corte Inglés smells incredible, but what they sell you is a downgraded reformulation. It projects very little and smells like cheap synthetic perfume. Despite that, I give it two stars because it’s not tiring and you can smell the vanilla, tobacco, and spices pleasantly. Its scent isn’t annoying and since it doesn’t project much, it’s versatile, so I’ll probably empty the bottle, something I don’t say about many others. But for the price, it’s not recommended unless you find a batch from the early days.
There are more complaints now because the longevity and projection are very poor. I’m not talking about the old reformulation, but at two and a half hours it’s just a skin scent. I bought it at El Corte Inglés and it’s genuine. PS: the scent is spectacular, but it only works for intimate dates because it projects nothing from a distance.
My biggest disappointment.
I love it. I’ve had it for years and see it as the modern, sparky sister of a Man in Black by Bulgari. A good purchase for winter, ideal for men over 25.
Sometimes it smells like rich, sweet vanilla and tobacco, and other times like disgusting cumin; it’s Russian roulette.
I picked up Spicebomb Extreme by Viktor&Rolf for around £75 with delivery included in 2025, yes, there are good offers if you look carefully. It’s a sexy, noticeable scent. Of course, with vanilla and cumin, some won’t like it. It’s a gamble: some will adore it, but don’t get angry if people say they can’t handle it because it’s strong. Recommended sprays: 5-7 in autumn, 6-10 in winter. On my dry skin it lasts 7-8 hours and on clothes all day. On someone with more grateful skin, it lasted 9 hours. The first three hours are strong, from 4 to 5 it drops a bit, from 5 to 7 it’s a personal bubble, and afterwards it’s a skin scent. For me it’s masculine, for dates or parties. It’s bolder than elegant. Would I recommend it? Yes.
I bought it and it’s absolutely delicious, but as everyone says, the trail is just a personal bubble unless you apply more than 10 sprays. That’s why don’t pay more than $30; I got mine for $24. Check YouTube on how to spot the original from the fake, look for the simple box and QR codes, watch out. It’s a gem by Carlos Benaim, but it’s not a projection bomb. If you want it to last, buy three bottles; one isn’t enough. To give you an idea, one spray of Hawas Malibu equals four or five of this in potency.
Listen, mate, for $30 you’ll never find the original; it’s definitely fake. Someone had to tell you that.
It throws an incredible scent, but the trail dies out in 30 minutes and clings to the skin. The real longevity is only 4-5 hours, so for a price of $80, it’s a pure scam.
Smells lovely, with sweet vanilla and spices. It reminds me a bit of one of the Stronger With You scents.
