  • Aerin Tangier Vanille doesn’t stand out for originality, but it has something that hooks you and makes you feel good. I love the opening: vanilla and bergamot, its original point. In the drydown, it leaves a good vanilla, but not a new one. The final stage is long-lasting and your skin smells of lovely sandalwood. If you like new-bottle scents, it’s your perfume. I recommend it if you love vanilla with sandalwood and don’t have anything like it. If you already have Eau du Lait by Diptyque, I wouldn’t recommend it because they are very similar in the drydown.

  • I’m just starting out; I’ve had it for two days and am still working through it. I wore it in the morning and it smelled lovely, but after four hours it no longer smells like at the start, almost nothing. Perhaps my nose got used to the vanilla or isn’t picking it up at all. I’ll give it more chances. Yes, it is the typical vanilla scent, but more elegant, nothing tacky. Tangier Vanille, I expect more from you.

  • I was gifted a sample. I absolutely love natural vanilla scents, not synthetic ones, as the artificial ones make me gag. This one is a hit: elegant, zero synthetic, and zero cloying. The longevity isn’t huge but it lasts several good hours. I recommend it for fresh or cold days, not hot ones, and it works for day or night. I want it!

  • I was given a sample and I adore natural vanillas, not synthetic or cloying ones. This smells elegant, zero synthetic and zero cloying. The longevity isn’t high, but it lasts good hours. I recommend it for cold or fresh places, not hot ones, and it suits day or night. I want it!

  • It is very attractive and interesting to me. It isn’t the most novel vanilla, but it is extremely rich and elegant. I wear it day or night. Its trail is moderate and the longevity is commendable. I’m tempted to try the Gold version. It’s a pleasure; you delight in it, and if you love gourmand, powdery vanilla with wood and amber, I recommend it blindly.

  • It’s a vanilla luxury. At first, I only thought of vanilla and didn’t pay much attention, but on reflection, it caught me with a sweet note and an interesting floral-woody base. It reminded me of Tangier Vanille: warm, soft, and sweet. The vanilla with amber runs through the entire development, accompanied by bergamot at the start, rose in the heart, and sandalwood after a few hours. Projection is moderate for the first three hours before fading. The downside: it doesn’t last long enough for a quality EDP (around five hours).

  • A luxury of vanilla. On first spray I thought ‘vanilla’ and didn’t give it much thought, but then I was intrigued by that sweetness beneath an interesting floral-woody base. It’s warm, sweet and soft. The vanilla and amber are present throughout the development: bergamot at the start, rose in the heart and sandalwood when dry. Projection is moderate for the first three hours before fading. Disadvantage: it doesn’t last long enough on the skin for an EDP (around five hours).

  • Vanilla and amber, what a delicious thing. It’s cuddly, elegant and creamy; I’d even wear it to bed. It projects brilliantly and lasts over eight hours; very versatile, except on hot days.

  • Dama Incognita

I absolutely love this fragrance. The ingredients dance beautifully together: a sweet orange alternating with amber, woods, and an excellent vanilla that doesn’t overpower anything. A fantastic combination!

  • Dama Incognita

I love this fragrance. The ingredients blend perfectly; I feel a sweet orange alternating with amber, woods, and vanilla (which is excellent here), without one masking the other. Excellent!

What a good one!!!!! It’s now number one among all my vanillas. My ranking: 1. Tangier Vanille, 2. Burberry Goddess, 3. Kayali 28. It has a hint of YSL Cinéma but isn’t the same; here there is more oriental character and it is more complex than Fragrantica says. It’s a super elegant vanilla. It projects brilliantly, lasting well with four sprays. I can see it worn by a man too. What joy to have met you, Tangier Vanille!

What a gem, it’s now at the top of my vanilla list! Here’s my ranking: 1. Tangier Vanille, 2. Burberry Goddess, 3. Kayali 28. It has a hint of YSL’s Cinéma, but the oriental note is much stronger here. It’s more complex and has more notes than Fragrántica says. A super-elegant vanilla that projects luxury; four sprays are more than enough. I can see it worn by a man too. What joy to have met you, Tangier Vanille.

  • A Christmas gift that never fails: vanilla and amber that blend perfectly. Sweet yet soft, elegant for both day and night. It reminds me of the mature phase of YSL’s Cinema, but less sparkly. In its dry-down, it vibrates with Hypnotic Poison and that distinctive Play-Doh nuance, without being synthetic or aggressive. Dried, it smells like Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille with balsamic and woody notes, all wrapped in a touch of baby-powder freshness with fresh rose. A delight for vanilla lovers.
