I was looking for a smoky, vanilla, dark oriental, but I found something unexpected. It comes out sharp and fresh with a touch of rose, followed by a sweet incense that smells like talc soap. It reminds me of Kenzo Amour and brand new dolls. It’s a balsamic incense with good longevity, flattering and addictive that invites you to come closer. Edit 19-1-25: bought and confirmed; first impressions deceive, but I’ve fallen in love and it conveys peace.
I came with the idea of a smoky, vanilla, dark oriental, but I found a fresh surprise. It comes out sharp with a touch of rose, and then the sweet incense gives it that grey, talc, soapy air. It reminded me a lot of Kenzo Amour and even a brand new doll. In short: a balsamic incense with vanilla. Good longevity, flattering and addictive. Invites you to come closer to smell it. Edit: bought, first impressions deceive. I’ve just fallen in love and, although it’s sold for parties, it conveys me a lot of peace.
It evokes a summer party in the 70s, although I’ve never been to one. The notes seem wintry and heavy, but it’s the opposite: it has no sillage, it’s not warm, but has a lovely freshness at the start. Totally unisex.
What comes to mind is an outdoor disco in the 70s. And that although I’ve never been to one or lived in that era. What things. By the notes you imagine something loaded and wintry and nothing of the sort. I see myself with it all year because, apart from not having a very good sillage, it’s not too warm; it has a little bit of freshness very nice, especially at the start. Totally unisex.
I’m the first to always hunt for the next ‘high’ like a perfumery junkie. I always wait for the next one to blow my mind, and sometimes I forget that a simple scent has its time and place. Although Glow’s profile has been seen many times (amber-vanilla), it’s no less a beautiful and appropriate fragrance. It’s an amber that’s more powdery than balsamic, more elegant than solemn, and nothing heavy thanks to a fresh, not cloying, vanilla. It’s not genius, but it holds its own. It’s a bottle for any season and occasion where you don’t want to stand out but still make a good impression. Versatile in gender and age.
I’m the number one culprit for always hunting for the next ‘high’ like a perfumery junkie. I always wait for the next one to blow my mind, and sometimes I forget that a simple scent also has its time and place. Although Glow has that amber-vanilla profile, it’s a beautiful and appropriate fragrance. It’s an amber that’s more powdery than balsamic, more elegant than solemn, and nothing heavy thanks to a fresh, not cloying, vanilla. It’s not a genius, but it holds its own. It’s a bottle I’d reach for in any season for occasions where you don’t want to stand out too much, but still make a good impression. Versatile in gender and age.
I just smelled it and felt it smells of orange blossom with vanilla and amber. It’s lovely.
Just tried it and it smells of orange blossom with vanilla and amber. It looks gorgeous!
