  • The Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo Casual Life is, as its name suggests, a casual fragrance of a woody, fruity and aromatic style. The opening is pleasant: a sharp fruity touch like green apple mixed with something sweet like tonka, vanilla, chocolate or perhaps the declared coffee, lasting about 10 minutes. In the middle phase it remains fruity but violet leaves appear with that trendy ambroxan. As it dries down, what lasts the most is the wood, lowering the fruity and green notes although they don’t disappear. Thanks to its freshness and laid-back vibe, the name fits perfectly; it’s casual and ideal for any occasion in warm or temperate climates, best in spring or summer. It doesn’t project much but doesn’t smell like skin scent either; on my skin it lasted 8 hours. It’s not a 100% original nor totally generic aroma; it’s in the group of fragrances like Abercrombie First Instinct, so if you’ve tried that, you already have the idea of its style.

Coffee, lemon and ambroxan dominate on my skin. I love it, but the projection and longevity are very weak compared to the original Uomo. Imagine 40% of the original Uomo and 60% of a very soft Dior Sauvage; that’s what it smells like. A good option for any occasion, but avoid cold climates due to its low projection. If it were stronger in trail and longevity, I’d give it a 9, but as it isn’t, it only reaches a 7.

On my skin, what stands out most is coffee, lemon and ambroxan. I like it very much, but unfortunately its projection and longevity are super weak compared to the original Uomo. Imagine 40% of the Uomo and 60% of a very soft Dior Sauvage; that is what it smells like. A good option for any occasion, but not in cold weather due to the low projection. If it were stronger in trail and longevity I would give it a 9, but as it is not, it only reaches a 7.

  • A very good fragrance, fresher than the original Flanker Uomo. It’s an interesting blend of woody and citrus notes, where violet leaves, green and crisp notes join the spicy nuances of cardamom. The lemon seems sparkling and gives freshness to the whole. The heart begins with coffee, a traditional Italian ingredient, mixed with Ambrox and the vibrancy of geranium, creating a bitter and luminous sensation. The result is a perfume I like, delicate and attractive; it’s not a monster in projection or longevity, which remain moderate, but it smells fine and very elegant.

A very good fragrance, fresher than the original Uomo. An interesting blend of woods and citrus where violet leaves, green and crisp, unite with the spicy nuances of cardamom; the lemon seems sparkling and adds freshness. The heart emerges with coffee, a classic Italian ingredient, mixed with Ambrox and the liveliness of geranium, creating a bitter yet luminous sensation. It is a fragrance I like, delicate and attractive; it is not a monster in projection or longevity (moderate), but it smells refined and very elegant.

I just picked this up because I love Ferragamo perfumes; I already have five and none have disappointed me. The opening is citrusy with musky touches, it settles well, and although they say it doesn’t last as long as the original, it has lasted me 6 or 7 hours. It’s not as potent as the Uomo, but it doesn’t go wrong or fall short. With this, I want even more of the Ferragamo Parfums line; next I’ll get the new one to see how it goes. I see it for semi-casual use, with tracksuit bottoms, trousers and a shirt, and it works well for dates or the club because it’s noticeable from a distance.

  • It smells good and does its job, though it’s a bit generic. The notes are fresh, lasting 3 or 4 hours on my skin and projecting discretely. I normally reapply to finish the day with the aroma intact.

The scent is nice, but it’s very soft; it doesn’t last more than a minute on the skin or clothes.

I started off disappointed by the initial scent, but once applied to my skin, it was a total surprise: very clean and pleasant. It’s nothing like the Signature; although both have coffee notes, this one is creamy with citrus touches that give it rich nuances. The longevity is moderate, around 16 hours in total, but on my skin it lasts about 4 hours as pH plays a key role. My colleagues and strangers at work keep looking at me and asking what I’m wearing, and my partner loves it when I wear it. Of course, I’ll be buying another bottle. Best wishes to the community, have a great day!

  • Ferragamo Casual Life: Frankly, I consider it a very ‘basic’ scent. Nothing extraordinary, surprising, or even attractive. If it’s pleasant in dry down, it’s bland. It offers nothing more than a scent that says ‘it’s okay’ and that’s it. I think it’s for daily office wear; being Ferragamo, one expects elegance, refinement, originality, presence, neatness, and personality, and it falls short in all of that. I wouldn’t buy it again, not even an Avon one is better. I’m not saying this to disparage Avon; they have better fragrances. Comparing Ferragamo Casual Life with Avon’s Segno is like saying the Italian football team was beaten 5-1 by Trinidad and Tobago in Milan. In short, it’s disappointing both in scent and performance. Scent 6.0, Projection: 4, Longevity: 5 hours on skin. Not recommended.

I smelled it first in my father’s collection and loved it. I bought it, and it didn’t disappoint me in any way. It smells very sweet, like a desert. Girls will want to eat you; it’s very reliable and I recommend it highly.

I just bought it, and after a few days of testing, I differ from many who say it’s not worth it. For me, it’s very good. It’s hard to find a coffee note so soft to wear in summer, and ‘Casual Life’ makes it possible. It ends with a bitter musk like many do, but the heart smells of coffee: that soft coffee after a good meal, nothing heavy, very pleasant. One of my best designer buys at an affordable price.

A fresh, floral, and relaxing coffee scent. The opening is citrusy but fades quickly; almost immediately, cardamom and violet leaves emerge, harmonising the top notes and adding creaminess. The next phase is the coffee itself: soft and fresh, relaxing yet with a slight kick that makes it the star and gives it a distinctive touch. Geranium, rich and consistent, blends beautifully with the ambroxan and the initial violet, creating a gentle mix. By the end, I only detect musk, geranium, and the last traces of violet, as the woody notes are barely noticeable. In the dry-down, it’s a musky floral aroma; the coffee, the protagonist, departs leaving a pleasant impression. Casual Life feels like a more ‘casual’ Ferragamo – versatile, less sweet and nocturnal than the original (which I haven’t tried). Regarding projection, longevity, and sillage, I see it as a fragrance for personal enjoyment. I’d call it ‘Ferragamo Uomo Relax’ :P. Beyond that slight lack of performance, it’s something delicious, relaxing, and simply a pleasure to wear.

Fresh coffee, floral, and relaxing. The opening is citrus for a few seconds, then cardamom and violet leaves that add creaminess. It continues with soft, fresh coffee, relaxing but with a slight bite that makes it the star. Geranium accompanies well with ambroxan and violets, creating a soft mix. In the dry down, I only feel musk, geranium, and a trace of violet; the woods are barely perceptible. In dry down it’s floral and musky, and the coffee fades leaving a good feeling. Casual Life is a more ‘casual’, versatile, less sweet and nocturnal Ferragamo than the original (which I haven’t tried). As for projection and performance, I see it as for personal enjoyment. I’d call it ‘Ferragamo Uomo Relax’. Beyond its weak points, it’s delicious, relaxing, and a pleasure to smell.

  • It moves away from the original, with a critical opening that reminds me of another fragrance, I can’t quite recall which, perhaps a CK, but it’s light. It’s a light lemon followed by a coffee aroma, but a coffee that feels like when someone is smoking… I dare to say it has a bit of tobacco, like Tous Concentré. It’s not bad, just that it doesn’t resemble the original Ferragamo Uomo as much. In my opinion, if you buy blind and like light aromas that don’t suffocate, it’s good. Personal enjoyment and close contact only.

  • It deviates from the original, with a critical opening that reminds me of another fragrance, perhaps a CK one, but it’s light. It’s a light lemon, and suddenly a coffee aroma emerges, but like the one you get when someone is smoking… I dare say it has tobacco (like Tous Concentrée). It’s not bad, just that it doesn’t seem much like the original Ferragamo Uomo. If you like light scents that don’t overwhelm, it’s a blind buy. Personal enjoyment and for close contact only.

  • An exquisite fragrance but with terrible performance. I’m not exaggerating: after 45 minutes, it’s not even detectable right next to the skin. I asked the people with me, and even when they leaned in, they couldn’t smell it. What a pity with this performance. The original Uomo is definitely worth it; it’s a bomb. I haven’t tried the Signature here because it’s not available in Argentina. Best regards.

This fragrance smells of celery or coriander leaves in some Latin American countries. Or rather, it smells of crushed coriander leaves over a citrus base with faint woody undertones. It’s unpleasant. I can’t find any of the sweet coffee aroma, like a cappuccino, from the original Uomo. If there is any coffee note, it’s the very green fruit. I repeat, it smells of celery and, moreover, it has a high price in my country. A completely dispensable perfume.

In LATAM, it smells like celery or celeriac. Or like crushed coriander leaves over citrus and faint woods. It’s unpleasant, and I can’t find any trace of the sweet coffee aroma, like a cappuccino, from the original. If there is coffee, it’s a very green fruit. I repeat: it smells like celery and it’s expensive. It’s dispensable.

  • A simple and effective scent: citrus, coffee, and musk. It’s not trying to be head-turning; it’s easy to like and receive compliments for… if people can actually smell it. The performance is dreadful; I have fragrances with a bad reputation that last four hours, and this doesn’t even last on clothes. You have to overapply to make it work, which is a pity.

  • Francis271

I bought it for the bottle, but on skin it smells like herbs, such as celery or parsley, and it doesn’t work for me. Plus, the longevity is poor.
