Senior Perfumista at IFF, Catherine Jarno’s story is anything but conventional. Trained as a chemist and researcher, she entered the world of perfumery through its molecular and analytical doors. Starting out as a perfumist-analyst and later refining iconic compositions and their line extensions, she has spent decades deconstructing perfumes at a molecular level and rebuilding them with precision, giving her a deep understanding of the craft. Combined with a profound love of nature, her creations are surprisingly realistic without sacrificing any of their fantasy.
