Perfumer
Joelle Lerioux Patris
Joelle is a perfumer with international experience, graduated from the ISIPCA school in 1998 and later employed by Mane. She has been designing perfumes for more than 20 years with a special touch for haute perfumery.
Her long experience in very different markets such as Europe or Asia gives her a wealth and a sense of play and exploration.
After more than ten years abroad, she returns to France in 2012 for Expressions Parfumées and Fragrances Resources.
Her creations include Colonia Mirra for Acqua Di Parma, Oud and Bergamot Rich Extract for Jo Malone, Rose Ardente and Encens Divin for Givenchy l’Atelier, La Rose Gothiqu e for LeSnob …
This former dancer, determined and perceptive—who was going to join the famous Alvin Ailey Dance Theater in New York—decides, by a twist of fate, to make scent creation her life. She is a unique artist who combines art and perfume from day one.
In 2019, Joelle chooses independence by returning to Grasse. She builds her own laboratory as a real creative studio, along with a beautiful olfactive garden where she invites her clients—or rather, her «perfume lovers», as she likes to call them. She offers an immersive, unfiltered experience, sharing her world and approaching the creative brief in her own style: generous and bold—just like all the raw materials she selects drastically.
This special place allows her to flow into new fragrances, to which she likes to add a subtle touch of beautiful vintage fine perfumery.
She chooses «Le Parfumeur Français» as her brand name, which makes perfect sense to those who know Joelle, her work and her personality.
