Perfumes de Julien Plos

Julien Plos was born in France and, as his mother was a perfumer, he was exposed to the world of fragrances from an early age. It was during his visits to Grasse in the south of France that he discovered his passion for natural ingredients while learning about the history and traditions of perfumery.

After completing his perfumery studies at ISIPCA in Versailles, Julien travelled to England and the United States, where he embraced the eclectic spirit of London and New York and learned that everything is possible. In 2018, he returned to Paris and joined the prestigious perfume company Firmenich.

Julien is a calm, perfectionist, precise and detail-oriented, as well as an avid drawer. He enjoys creating contrasts, playing with light and shadow, and sketching forms like statues. He finds comfort in the strokes of his pencil or pen, meditating in black and white to develop an aesthetic of a new world. Julien is also passionate about basketball, a team sport that mirrors his life as a perfumer.

Julien is driven by innovation, and the future of perfumery, including new technologies, energises him. He uses the latest high-tech extraction methods to explore different and unexpected facets of natural ingredients. He is also fascinated by data that helps him understand consumer culture and predict their expectations.

Julien Plos lives in Paris, France, where he continues to create unique and innovative fragrances for Firmenich, drawing on his love of natural ingredients and his dedication to the craft.
