My name is Maria Taraf, and my romance with perfume began amid the vibrant souks of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There, the rich tapestry of scents sparked a lifelong passion for authentic fragrances. Years later, when I settled in Australia, a deep longing for my Levantine roots inspired me to create aromas that captured those precious memories. However, traditional spray-based perfumes were not ideal for some of my loved ones who have allergies. This led me down a path of discovery: the world of natural perfumery and the potential of solid fragrances. Crafted with nourishing coconut oil and beeswax, these solid perfumes offered a beautiful alternative. After months of experimentation, I formulated three unique scents – Evoke, Enchant and Entice – and the reactions were magical. The joy and the connection people felt with these fragrances fuelled my determination to share them with the world. But I knew that exceptional quality deserved exceptional partners. That is why I collaborated with fragrance experts in France, drawing on their expertise to refine and elevate my creations.
