"For me, perfume is something very intimate and sensual; I have always been fascinated by aromas and essences. I personally remember all the smells from when I was a child: I remember where I was at that moment and what I was doing. The memory of the scent and what it evokes is one of the greatest pleasures in life. To have the best fragrance, I started a large organic farm where I was born. I think I am the only perfumer who grows his own ingredients. I grow hundreds of plants that are 250 years old, from which I extract essential oils such as neroli or petitgrain, in an exceptional and unique territory known throughout the world for this type of essential oils. Growing our own flowers is a way to reconnect with the true essence of a perfumer’s work. I create perfumes with a particular technique that I saw in Grasse when I was a young man. These days, this technique is out of use because it is too expensive.
My perfumes are rich in contrasts within, without conventions that could limit the boldness of the scent. They evoke my loves, where I come from, the sensuality and my time in fashion. All of this speaks and conveys what I am". - a note from the perfumer.
