Perfumer
Tom Hidvegi
He made a name for himself in the world of advertising, creating global campaigns and designing iconic labels for well-known brands around the world. However, a deeper calling drove him to take up perfumery as his mission. His journey led him to complete formal training in fragrances in Florence and to learn in Paris.
Tom’s approach to creating perfumes reflects his life philosophy—decoding emotions and crafting aromas like intricate embroidery. Hence the name of his perfume brand Brodēon, which comes from the French word broder, meaning to embroider. Each note is a delicate stitch, forming a masterpiece that transports the wearer to an unforgettable dimension.
He believes that a perfume is not just an accessory, but an invisible garment that enhances the best version of oneself, sparking internal dialogues and creating moments of attraction. Brodēon perfumes are a blend of cutting-edge creativity, bold elegance, and timeless sophistication to heighten your senses.
His debut collection features three captivating Eau de Parfums—Verdon, a green and fresh delight; Mielor, a sumptuous gourmand; and Ruméa, a metallic rum and coconut masterpiece—along with an Extrait de Parfum, Cuiré, a bold creation of leather and spices. This collection received great recognition, establishing him as the first Hungarian niche perfumer to achieve international distribution through Douglas.
