  • I’m not a fan of Britney fragrances; they tend to be too cloying for my taste, so my expectations for Naughty were zero, and I tried it purely out of curiosity. What a brilliant surprise—I already want to buy it! The opening is boldly woody and sweet: woods, orris, and a vanilla and butter cupcake. Very intense, almost suffocating. It evolves into a very creamy white chocolate with a soft floral base; the fragrance relaxes, doesn’t overwhelm, and balances beautifully. After a few hours, I notice the woods and that sweet creaminess. I feel like I’m wearing a blend of Estée Lauder Sensuous with the sweetness of the original Fantasy, but without the fruit. It’s sexy, mature, gourmand… I love it! Incredibly long-lasting: I wore it yesterday, and even after showering today, I can still smell it.

  • Smells exactly like the original Fantasy but with more punch and a woody twist. Not quite my usual style, but it pleasantly surprised me; I see it as perfect for winter or autumn.

  • I think it’s an evolution of Fantasy Rose. For me, it’s woody enough to remove that ‘childish’ touch and give it maturity, although it doesn’t lose its vanilla cupcake finish, which adds interest. I think it holds up well for informal night outings, an autumn and winter fragrance. Sufficient longevity, around 5 hours. Final verdict: I give it an 8.

  • It’s the adult and refined version of the original Fantasy, as if it were that perfume without the annoying bits, like the scandalous acidity of kiwi and quince. It has no fruit, it’s more woody, but also sweet, very vanilla-scented and powdery. I liked both the opening and the base so much. Call me a heretic, but it smells like I imagined Iris Ganache by Guerlain would (it just lacked the iris, LOL). The white chocolate is noticeable and the base smells like cake flour, AHHHHH! <3

  • It’s the adult, refined version of the original Fantasy, as if they’d removed the annoying, scandalous acidity of kiwi and quince. This one has no fruit; it’s more woody yet also sweet, very vanilla-heavy and powdery. I liked both the opening and the base. Call me a heretic, but it smells like I imagined Guerlain’s Iris Ganache would smell (it just lacked the iris! LOL). The white chocolate note is perfect, and the base smells like cake flour—AHHHHH! <3

  • It is true that it smells powdery but soft; I detect lots of white chocolate, wood, and iris root. If you like perfumes that are very sweet and make you want to eat them, this is for you. I combine it with Fantasy and the result is amazing, a delight. Both are incredible. I recommend this remix; I give it 9.5 out of 10.

  • I tried it because the seller had already sprayed it on me and caught me off guard; although I own the entire Fantasy collection and wasn’t drawn to the original, this shares its base but with fewer notes and some added ones. It’s powdery, 100% gourmand, with no fruit or almost no florals. It has a touch of Lolita Lempika due to the woody notes, so if you like that, you’ll love it. It’s dark, sweet, and intense. Anyway, I ended up buying it 🙂

Warning: This is not a review, just a clarification about the fragrance. Although both Fragrantica in Spanish and English classify it as ‘Floral fruity gourmand’, the true olfactory family is ‘Floral Oriental’. How can it be fruity if it has absolutely no fruit in it?

After reading all the reviews, I rushed out to buy it (literally, haha). In Mexico it’s extremely hard to get hold of; here you only find the normal Fantasy and one or two Britneys with great effort, but this one they simply don’t know. I love the original Fantasy, but I’ve already heard it from several people, so even though it’s my scent and my friends say I smell like myself, they won’t buy it even though they adore it. I decided to take a chance and bought it from a friend who brings perfumes from the USA. I got home, tried it, and at first it gave me a very strong note that I didn’t identify well, but within a minute I noticed it’s very similar to the original Fantasy, just a bit more powdery. After twenty minutes, I absolutely love the scent: it’s more mature than the normal Fantasy, which I like a lot. It’s as if the Fantasy had grown up with me, since I’ve been wearing it since I was 17 and now I’m 24. Definitely no regrets; it’s still a sweet fragrance without being cloying, very unique, with that perfect powdery touch. I would definitely buy it again; it’s worth far too much.

  • I bought this perfume based on reviews here and have no regrets; my expectations for TNR were high, and it far exceeded them. To me, Naughty is the sophisticated version of Fantasy: sexy, mysterious, elegant, and sweet, perfect for dates or special occasions. If I had to choose just one from my wardrobe, it would be this without a doubt. It reminds me of Britney Spears’ ‘Heaven on Earth’ because of the sensuality it evokes; in fact, the lyrics come to mind automatically when I apply it. In the opening, you can detect the lily root, musk, woods, and a touch of white chocolate. Then those notes fade, giving way to the petit four, adding a super sweet yet elegant scent. Hours later, the chocolate, petit four, and woods dance across the skin. The trail isn’t strong, but the longevity is impressive: I leave in the morning and return at night still smelling of it, and it lasts for days on clothes. The best thing is the price: literally, you get so much more for what you pay. If it carried a famous house name and a more luxurious bottle, it would sell for four times this price. I don’t think it’s for everyday wear, not because it’s overwhelming, but because I feel it’s reserved for special occasions, to keep it from becoming ordinary. Although I’d love to be associated with it, at important events it wouldn’t draw attention from people I already know. Anyway, I recommend The Naughty Remix for its price, longevity, scent, and quality.

I’m updating my review of The Naughty Remix due to dissatisfaction with my previous one, which didn’t give a fair view of this curious and underrated creation. The Naughty Remix is crafted by deconstructing the notes of Fantasy (alongside its twin, The Nice Remix), so don’t expect anything resembling the original from 2005. It’s an insult, a kick in the teeth to prejudiced, snobbish, and pedantic people who think a big brand guarantees quality or that price equals a good product. If you’re hunting for sweet, fruity, and cloying notes typical of celebrity scents, The Naughty Remix (like Jessica Simpson’s Fancy Nights or much of Elizabeth Taylor’s range) will prove them wrong. TNR is an oriental-floral fragrance (no fruit, no patchouli) that could be a distant cousin to Guerlain’s Insolence line, and it’s everything Poison Girl or Mon Paris wished they could be. TNR opens with a delicate jasmine (if you sniff straight from the bottle, you catch a hint of chocolate liqueur) that dominates the dry, powdery white chocolate, not fluid or acidic like in Fantasy, but dry and earthy (very much like Le Premier by Lolita Lempicka), blended with a realistic yet frivolous lily root, creating an unusual gourmand-woody mix. After a long dry-down, with moderate but potent sillage, the cupcake note appears—spongy, addictive, and energising, with a woody base and a minimal musk. Despite Fragrantica incorrectly classifying it as fruity, it’s a coherent and innovative oriental for the Fantasy line, topped with its outrageous bottle that looks like a love potion and lust designed by sorceress Morgianna (with colours more twilight than shrill). Ironic is the result of a low-credibility lineage and an unpromising technical concept (splitting Fantasy into two fragrances seemed unimaginative). Its price is so low it’s embarrassing, and it’s easy to find in small perfumeries or online. TNR, as its name suggests, is a bolder, lustier, and less innocent version of the original, more elegant and daring. It seems the marketing department at Elizabeth Arden didn’t waste time, launching it without massive advertising. It’s a fragrance to recapture Fantasy users who drifted away from the original, to reintegrate them. TNR is the attitude of someone who, recalling their embarrassing past, offers a look of superiority and sarcastic laughter, confident and not wasting time rambling about who they’re for, since they already have the answer ready. It’s a ‘I know what I want and no one will stand in my way’, so fitting for a character like Mikami, the lusty ghostbuster who conquered screens in the early new millennium.

  • If I had to rate The Naughty Remix, it would be surprising. The opening is a forest: woody, dark, yet warm. The iris root and white chocolate notes are prominent and addictive. At first, it reminded me of Lolita Lempicka’s Le Premier parfum, just less intrusive and with a more delicate touch. As it dries down, the sweetness appears… it smells like a cupcake, very gourmand, giving the perfume warmth. I don’t know why it reminds me of an enchanted forest, a magical fragrance full of personality. I think this perfume could boost anyone’s self-esteem. Definitely the best Britney I’ve tried so far; it doesn’t seem like a celebrity perfume at all. If it were from a major house, it would sell like hot cakes at triple the price.

It reminded me of Le Premier by Lolita Lempicka, just less intrusive and more delicate. As it dries, the sweetness emerges; it smells like a cupcake, very gourmand, adding extra warmth. • I’ve wanted to try it for ages, but I couldn’t find it and had to buy it blindly; luckily it was a good choice. The bottle is beautiful and the scent is a deconstruction of the original Fantasy. Although it belongs to that line, it has little to do with the shrill Fantasy that I’ll always love. The Naughty Remix is like my Fantasy has grown up: they’ve removed the unbearable kiwi and the fruity lychee and quince parts. It leaves a sweet fragrance that does justice to its line, but very powdery, earthy, woody and with that characteristic sweetness, plus notes of orchid and jasmine in the background. All the ingredients are perceptible, which is wonderful. It’s very long-lasting and its sillage is worthy of its house. It’s very pleasant, not cloying, very powdery (I didn’t expect so much), with a romantic profile, more than elegant, though it wouldn’t go amiss in a work setting. Highly recommended for those who adored Fantasy but found it too small (I mean the post-2009 reformulation; the earlier one is wonderful). Plus, it’s so affordable it doesn’t hurt.

  • Another one? You might think I’m mad to talk about a Britney perfume, but yes, there’s something in the water when it’s blessed. Buying blind is becoming an addiction, but of course, who can resist a good price and so many favourable reviews? I spent my teenage years bashing the Britney Spears line because I preferred Rochas, Escada, or Versace, and celebrity perfumes seemed low-class to me. Plus, I never liked Britney’s packaging. Fortunately, with age, I’ve lost prejudices rather than gained them. Yesterday I received three wonderful miniatures: Curious, Believe, and Naughty Remix. I like all three, each in its own style, but Naughty Remix drives me wild. I already have the reformulated Fantasy and like it a lot, but NR fascinates me. At times, it brings back memories of my beloved, discontinued Joop Nuit D’été, which I’ll never find again. It smells deep as the night and warm as home. I find it earthy but not powdery as other reviews say (matters of pH, I suppose), and it seems super feminine and fascinating because it’s not childish or girly; it’s the perfume of a sophisticated, feminine, confident, and dreamy woman. If it lasted a bit longer on my skin, it would be perfect. This will be the first of many bottles and the start of a great friendship.

  • Speaking of Britney again, you might think I’ve lost my mind, but yes, something about the water when it’s blessed. It’s become a habit to buy blindly, but who can resist a good price and so much favourable opinion? I spent my teenage years bashing the Britney line, spending on Rochas, Escada or Versace, and celebrity perfumes seemed low-class to me. Plus, the Britney bottles, in particular, didn’t appeal to me. Fortunately, over the years I’ve lost my prejudices. Yesterday I received three little bottles: Curious, Believe and Naughty Remix. I like all three, but Naughty Remix drives me crazy. I have the reformulated Fantasy and I like it, but NR fascinates me. At times it reminds me of my beloved Nuit D’été by Joop, which I’ll never find again. • I wanted a Britney perfume in my collection for the bottles, so I chose this one for the price. It doesn’t smell bad, but it doesn’t quite convince me; I prefer the scent after a few hours. Still, I get told it smells ‘dirty’—I’m not sure if it’s the lily root or something else, but it happens with other Fantasy, Amor Amor and a few more. The good thing is it lasts over 12 hours, the bottle is cool, and when dry it smells vaguely like Lou Lou. Would I repurchase? No.

  • pamela perfumera

Totally oriental and floral, warm, dark and powdery. It’s a sweet delight where white chocolate wraps everything. I recommend it for winter; in summer it can feel heavy and overwhelming, given its strong sillage and longevity. It has nothing to envy from expensive fragrances like Cacharel or YSL.

  • Cassie Contagui

Floral notes are noticeable at first, but once it settles on the skin, it smells like a little cake. Longevity is moderate to long-lasting. I still prefer the original version, but this is a very creamy and delicious gourmand.

  • I bought it blind and after many attempts I had to gift it away. I think the lily root doesn’t suit my skin; I don’t sense any sweet notes, just a strong smoky smell that I found unpleasant. That said, the longevity and sillage are top-notch, but to my misfortune when I wore it.

  • I bought it blind, and after many attempts to wear it, I had to give it away. I think the iris root doesn’t suit my skin; I can’t detect any sweet note on me, it just took on a strong smoke scent that I found unpleasant. That said, longevity and sillage were excellent—what a tragedy when I wore it!

  • Crisindian

My favourite of Britney’s; very sweet and powdery, it lasts much longer than many far more expensive ones. For me, it was a discovery thanks to your reviews, and it makes me happy.

It’s my favourite of Britney, super sweet and powdery. It lasts much longer than other perfumes that cost a fortune. For me, it was a discovery thanks to your reviews and it makes me very happy.

  • It’s the most mature Britney I’ve tried and I like it more than the original Fantasy. Upon spraying, it’s woody, sweet and floral, very intense. Then you notice the white chocolate struggling to emerge and settling in the base. It projects well for two hours, but afterwards it sits close to the skin and lasts only a couple more. Scent 7/10, longevity 4/10, sillage 7/10, value for money 6/10, versatility 6/10, packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? No.

  • It’s a marvel. At first, on my skin, it smells like chocolate liqueur, I think due to the lily root and white chocolate. However, the lily root fades in five minutes, leaving only the white chocolate and a vanilla touch. It’s a delicious gourmand vanilla scent that dominates everything.

  • Idontlikepatchuli

It starts as a bomb: woody, white chocolate and pure sweetness. But within minutes, on my skin, it turns into a beast. That heavy ‘smoke’ everyone mentions appears and is brutal. Just be aware, it lasts forever.

  • Idontlikepatchuli

At first, it smells delicious: the wood, the white chocolate, and the sweetness. But within minutes, it takes on a terrible scent on my skin, super strong, as described below, a very heavy ‘smoke’. That said, it lasts a long time.
