It sounds like it could smell similar to Dior Homme… it’s a hunch.
The previous version of Amber Elixir already smelled fantastic, albeit fruity, and this didn’t convince me at first… but this one promises a lot thanks to the iris and amber. UPDATE: I’ve received a sample and can say it truly deserves its name; it’s pure smoky, sensual amber; I can clearly smell the bourbon vanilla. Unfortunately, its longevity is scarce and you need to reapply it in just two hours.
Wow, Senzadite! I just tried it and my heart skipped a beat; I didn’t realise it was Cuir de Lancôme until I read your comment and confirmed it. You’ve hit the nail on the head: it smells incredibly similar to Dior Homme, but softer, with less longevity and projection. If you like Dior Homme and are looking for something cheaper, this is it, though you do need to apply it generously. Update: on my skin, the longevity is terrible, there’s almost no projection, and after a while it changes so much that it bears no resemblance to the original.
