The best of the Amó line; it has real potential on my skin. It feels sensual, masculine and woody, with a good trail for the first two hours before becoming more restrained and inviting you to sniff the skin. The opening is liquorish with a well-blended pineapple note; after a few hours, the vanilla and tonka emerge calmly. Ideal for night outs or cold days, suitable for roughly 25 to 40-year-olds.
Fragrances with tonka bean tend to be similar: sweet, wintry and slightly dark; the bean dominates the nose. This is no exception; it is present in all phases. At first, it smells acidic, the pineapple is very noticeable and it sits well. The combination of liqueurs gives a soft vanilla touch. In summary: sweet, wintry, more nocturnal than diurnal. Trail and longevity are normal. Approved without going crazy.

Trail and longevity are average. Approved without going mad.
There is a lot of pineapple in the opening, without much trail but it is good. The initial notes are identical to those of Creed Aventus.

It reminds me of a much sweeter Versace Eros. Personally, I like this new Amó Esquenta more than the Versace. I am talking about the new Amó Esquenta, not the one that does not appear on Fragrantica.
It’s a much sweeter version of Versace Eros for me personally; I prefer this over Versace Eros for Men. The new one is heating up… not this one, as it’s not available here on Fragrantica.
Almost certainly this new presentation was reformulated because the longevity is terrible: it disappears after four or five hours. For me, Natura’s colognes project more and last better; this one lasts only an hour. It smells pleasant, mature and nocturnal; it looks promising but I would have preferred it to stay as an EDT. It is difficult to identify the main note, although it is super pleasant. The only one that has stood up to competition is Homem Verum; the Essence is the same but aggressive, so you have to be careful with the sprays. Esquenta does not linger on clothes and vanishes shortly, unlike other Natura fragrances that last for days. Perhaps that is why it was discontinued: it is simply awful.

The new grey bottle hides a complete reformulation: it is no longer the same as before. It feels like a lighter EDT version; with just two sprays, it sits close to the skin. If applied correctly, it projects modestly: fresh, woody and very masculine, reminiscent of Esika’s ‘Leyenda’ but lighter, without that prominent ISO E Super note. Ideal for work, post-gym, or spring/summer if you prefer nothing sweet or showy and wish to remain unobtrusive.
