Alexandra Kosinski is a talented perfumer based in Paris, France. She grew up with a passion for perfumery and pursued her dream by attending the prestigious ISIPCA in Versailles, where she graduated as the best of her class. Her career began at Quest, where she honed her skills before the company was acquired by Givaudan. During her 15 years at Givaudan, Alexandra worked on the creation of fragrances for some of the world’s best-known brands. In 2018, she was appointed Senior Perfumist at CPL Aromas, where she now serves as Director of Perfumery in the United Kingdom.
Alexandra’s fascination with nature has been an important source of inspiration for her work in perfumery. She enjoys recreating the aromas found in nature through fragrances, condensing them and bottling them so others can enjoy them. Alexandra is known for her ability to create fragrances of the highest quality, using natural, organic and vegan raw materials. She believes that fragrances can have a powerful effect on our everyday life, increasing our confidence and elevating our mood.
Alexandra has won several FiFi Awards for her fragrance creations, and her work has earned her a reputation as one of the most talented perfumers in the industry. Her favourite fragrance is L’heure Bleu de Guerlain, which she admires for its well-structured facets and its extraordinary sillage.
In addition to nature, Alexandra finds inspiration in paintings, as she believes that each fragrance or raw material has its own colour. She enjoys experimenting with different ingredients, comparing her favourites as if inviting friends to a party. She knows how they will behave together in a formula and the way they will interact with other ingredients. Alexandra’s creative and artistic approach to perfumery has allowed her to create unique and memorable fragrances that continue to delight and inspire consumers around the world.
