Versace Couture Violet is a long-term love; at first I was disappointed and, given the price, I thought I’d made a mistake buying blind. But after days on my skin and clothes, the dry-down shines with heliotrope: it starts with a crumbly note before turning into something spicy from the iris. Once settled, the violet magic begins—a powdery scent that hugs you all day, sometimes fading only to reappear after 10 or 12 hours. On clothes it’s flatter but lasts forever. It’s refined, fresh, clean, with a slight medicinal touch. I bought it from a tester so I can’t judge the cap. Is it worth it? If you catch it at a good price and adore violets, yes.
