French Waltz by Golf Le Fleur: A Musky Floral Fragrance for All

Discover French Waltz, a creation from Golf Le Fleur launched in 2021. A scent that blends flowers, musk, and wood, crafted by Alexandra Kosinski and Julie Pluchet.

French Waltz is presented as a fragrance from the Musk Floral Woody olfactory family, designed for both women and men. Its opening highlights the freshness of magnolia, lychee, nashi pear, and mandarin, creating a fruity and luminous start.

In the heart, rose, jasmine, mimosa, and lily of the valley unfold an elegant and soft floral bouquet. These flowers intertwine to deliver a romantic and timeless feel, with a powdery touch from the mimosa.

The base sits on musk and sandalwood, adding warmth and depth. This woody and musky foundation balances the initial freshness, leaving a soft, enveloping trail that lasts on the skin.

The composition, signed by perfumers Alexandra Kosinski and Julie Pluchet, achieves a balance between floral, fruity, and woody notes. It is a versatile fragrance, suitable for everyday wear, yet it can also shine on special occasions thanks to its discreet elegance.

With an average rating of 4.33 out of 5, based on 453 reviews, French Waltz has won over those looking for a modern floral fragrance with character. Its sillage is moderate, and its projection is pleasant without being overpowering.

French Waltz is intended for men and women who enjoy floral fragrances with a fruity and woody twist. Ideal for those seeking a versatile, elegant scent with a soft sillage, perfect for daily use or for occasions where a delicate impression is desired.

Overall, French Waltz by Golf Le Fleur is a well-constructed fragrance that combines fresh flowers, juicy fruits, and a musky-woody base. Its balance and unisex appeal make it an attractive choice for anyone wanting a modern floral perfume without being overly sweet. A great option to explore this brand or to add a new dimension to your collection.

A floral, fresh, fruity, and slightly retro perfume. The finish is similar to Glossier You, delicate, musky, powdery, and warm. Is it a unique perfume? No, in fact, I think it resembles a thousand other perfumes. It reminds me of Glossier You, White Musk from The Body Shop, and Modern Muse from Estée Lauder. But overall, the perfume is cute, suitable for everyday wear when you can’t be bothered to choose something special. And for such a fresh perfume, it’s very long-lasting with a lot of sillage.

I’ve just received it in the post. At first, I was a bit surprised because I’d read a lot of semi-negative reviews about it. And I understand what people say, that it’s strong. And I think that’s where it’s most positive for me. The best way I can describe the smell will only be understandable to people from the 90s…. It smells like the fragrance department at Macy’s, when they only had perfumes from the best designers and they sprayed the bottles so generously that as soon as you walked in, you wanted to know what scent you were smelling, you went along the line of Dior, Mugler, Chanel, Versace, and Estée Lauder trying to pinpoint that scent, only to be confused and unsure because the truth was it was a mix of all of them ….. French Waltz, although intense, is more of a love note to my 90s heart, when the big fashion and makeup houses had unique fragrances, and there were no famous actresses or musicians producing perfumes that smelled like variations of high-end drugstore products. When I wear it, I get a lot of compliments and people are often surprised to discover that it’s not Chanel, Dior, or an established brand. If this is your first foray into the world of fragrances, I’m looking forward to smelling what awaits us in the future.

Opens with white floral and freshly laundered clothes. Open, clean, and almost green. Being from the South, I distinguished the magnolia immediately when it started to dry down. If you’re from Louisiana, think of the beautiful aroma of those huge flowers with the sophistication of citrus and rose accompanying it. Fresh floral. It lasted 8 hours on me and settled into a pleasant floral scent on the skin. It leans more feminine, but men with delicacy can pull it off. Is it worth the price? Hard to say. I wouldn’t say it’s totally original, but it definitely has its own style. Is it charming, does it last a while, and do people like it? Absolutely. But again, I don’t know if it’s worth it. I recommend trying the travel size if you’re not 100% convinced.

  4. Blind bought the 100ml and was very nervous about the price. Is it worth 200? I don’t think so. Is it unique and does it smell very good? Yes. It’s an aquatic, sweet, and floral fragrance that everyone can wear. Very pleasant for the public and at the same time unique. It will definitely be a staple when summer comes, it’s surely fresh.
