I have had the opportunity to smell it and it is soft and pleasant, but it has very poor durability. In my opinion, it is not worth the price it has.

  • Total disappointment. I adore the classic Light Blue and was eager to try this, but I haven’t liked it at all. I don’t know if it’s because of the grapefruit leaves; it is supposed to be inspired by having a glass of wine at sunset looking at the sea, but to me, it sincerely smelled like paint, turpentine or nail polish remover; I don’t know if it’s because of my skin. The longevity is scarce.

  • It is quite soft and fresh, very easy to wear. I sensed a slight touch of mandarin, although I don’t see it in the official notes. It has a moderate trail and lasts a bit more than four hours. When it dries, it smells like soft wood; it really smells like summer holidays. I thought it was very apt that it is a limited edition and not a permanent variant of the original; I have liked it.

  • I was hopeful, wanting something similar to Light Blue in freshness and quality, but no. Its opening gives you expectations, but shortly afterwards it deflates… it becomes flat, salty, with poor projection and very scarce longevity. If we mention its price… a resounding no.

  • I had high hopes for something fresh and quality like Light Blue, but it wasn’t. The opening is tempting, but then it deflates… it becomes dull, salty, with poor projection and very scarce longevity. And if we talk about the price… a resounding no.

It suits me perfectly. It’s super fresh yet has a warm touch, like the sun in summer. You can tell it depends on skin chemistry, as it lasts incredibly long on mine.

I love it. Super fresh but with a warm touch like the sun on summer days. It is noticeable that the persistence depends on skin chemistry, as on mine it lasts a very long time.

I love the classic Light Blue and trusted that Sunset in Salina would be similar, but it was a real disappointment. It doesn’t even have a single trait of the classic; nothing to do with it or its siblings. Really, for lovers of the traditional, I don’t recommend it. It is very expensive and even vulgar.

I love classic Light Blue and confident it would be similar, I took a risk with Sunset in Salina and it was a disappointment. It has not a single trace of the classic, nothing like the original or its siblings. For lovers of the traditional, I don’t recommend it. It’s very expensive and even comes across as vulgar.

  • I bought it because of the original’s fame as it was super cheap. I don’t know if it’s my skin, but it smells like nothing. I tested it on fabrics, on blotting paper, and sprayed it; nothing. Then on blotting paper, after a while, just a faint hint of grapefruit. I was very angry to have spent the money. You spray pure alcohol, there is no scent at all. And at best, when it dries, you have to make an effort to smell the grapefruit leaves and nothing more. A rip-off!

  • It’s a version of Light Blue with solar, warm, and slightly sweet notes. I bought it blindly and it was nice for spring or summer afternoons. However, the longevity felt short and the sillage minimal. It didn’t disappoint, but it doesn’t surpass the original, and considering the price, I probably wouldn’t buy this edition again.

  • It is a version of Light Blue with solar, warm and slightly sweet notes. I bought it blind and loved it for spring or summer afternoons. The longevity seemed short and the trail minimal. It didn’t disappoint me, but it doesn’t surpass the original Light Blue, and comparing prices, I might not buy this edition again.

  • Although it is a flanker of D&G, I wouldn’t say they come from the same family if I smelled them blind. On my skin, the orange blossom and jasmine stand out, and it seems more similar to Natura’s Esta Flor Jazmín. It follows the same line, but the Natura version is more intense and long-lasting. This Light Blue has a soft trail and poor longevity, something one wouldn’t expect for the brand’s price. It is a daytime, spring and summer scent; you need to reapply it every three or four hours; it doesn’t stand out in terms of performance or originality.

I tried this fragrance back in 2016 and am using it again. Sunset in Salina is a flanker of Light Blue, but they don’t resemble each other much; what unites them is that Mediterranean beach freshness. This one smells lighter, with a saltier touch and a hint of sweetness from the floral and amber notes. I prefer the original Light Blue, which is more citrusy and aquatic, but this deserves attention. It is very hot in Buenos Aires today, and it accompanies me perfectly.
