April 2017, in Chile, it’s a super cheerful, energetic scent. Fruity to the core. I would buy it; it lasted me a treat, I’d say about nine hours. It would suit a positive, leader-type woman, open-minded and generous.
It smells the same as Escada Turquoise Summer to me, but I’d say the Tous version has better longevity.
So delicious! To me, it smells of tropical fruits with a hint of vanilla at the back; the patchouli is hardly noticeable and the wood is hard to identify at first, but after a few hours it does start to appear. The tropical fruits are so intense when they first come out that they drown out everything else; then, after an hour, they give way to a soft vanilla and a tiny touch of wood and patchouli, also soft, but without losing that exotic fruit character. They just drop a little in intensity so everything blends well without losing its fruity nature. It’s so fruity that you want to eat it, ideal for summer. When I smell it, I only think of a paradisiacal beach. Ideal for fans of real fruity perfumes, although it doesn’t stand out for being original… It has good longevity and lasts quite a while on the skin.
To me, it doesn’t remind me of Escada Turquoise Summer, but rather of Born in Paradise; I’d say they’re practically identical, indistinguishable. I own the Born in Paradise but I couldn’t resist buying this Tous one; the bottle has won me over. It’s sweet, fruity, cheerful and innocent. With very good longevity and sillage compared to other perfumes with similar scents.
It’s the same fragrance as Escada Born in Paradise. Smells super tropical, like watermelon and coconut.
Mango, coconut, guava and vanilla… pure delight, fresh, sweet, summery, fruity and above all super tropical. To me, it smells exactly like Escada Fiesta Carioca. A real party for the senses.
By 2019, it’s discontinued and I found it as a clearance item at a tempting price. The ‘permanent’ Tous perfumes are soft, somewhat generic, but with a distinguished touch and a classic formula that works many times. But this one, as soon as I tested it, was a revolution… A tropical bomb with a warm/cold struggle that on my pH is an entertaining olfactory battle. Vanilla, patchouli, and coconut are warm sweets that without a counterpart chill the skin and warm it in winter. The raspberry, guava, and bergamot I feel as cold, sharp sweets that refresh but aren’t quite summery or sporty enough. On me, the cold ones win. Having aromas that commercial brands use and abuse, the notes in this Tous feel natural and of good quality, well-balanced and giving a cheerful yet elegant impression. A risky but entertaining excursion by the jewellery brand with a result far from disappointing.
Purchased in 2019 when it was discontinued; I grabbed it at a ridiculously cheap sale price. Tous’ ‘permanent’ scents are gentle, slightly generic yet classy and timeless. This one, however, was a revelation… A tropical bombshell featuring a warm/cold clash that plays out as a delightful battle on my skin. Vanilla, patchouli and coconut provide warm sweetness that, without a counterpoint, would just cling to the skin in winter. Raspberry, guava and bergamot offer cold, sharp notes that refresh but aren’t quite summery enough. On me, the cold notes win out. Although it uses aromas that commercial brands overuse, here they feel natural and of good quality, well-balanced, creating a cheerful yet elegant impression. A bold but fun excursion by the jewellery brand with a far from disappointing result.
I loved it when I tested it; it starts with fruity and fresh aromas, a divine explosion of fruits. But once those aromas fade, it ends up smelling like Victoria Secret’s Love Spell. Fortunately, I didn’t buy it and waited a bit.
I saw its charming bottle and wanted to try it; it’s very fruity with mango and coconut as the protagonists, with patchouli and woods only noticeable at the end. I find it very similar to Tous Gold, even though they don’t share notes; it must be the blend of ingredients. It has good fixation and sillage; if you’re going to use it in summer, apply it moderately. For me, it’s for a summer night or late summer days.
I love it!!! It’s sweet but charming; on my skin, it lasts between 7 and 8 hours; I’m fascinated by it. It’s sweet but not aggressive; I’m going to finish it, but I’m sure I’d buy it again.
A delightful perfume in a well-girly bottle. Exquisite tropical notes make it perfect for summer. Juvenile, sweet, yet fresh. Good longevity and sillage.
Sweet, fruity, and tropical, it reminds you of the beach. You can taste the raspberry and coconut; it’s delicious. To me, it’s very similar to Escada Fiesta Carioca; I love both, though I might choose the Escada. It’s different from typical citrus or aquatic summer perfumes; this one transports me to the Caribbean, beaches, sun, palms… what a pleasure.
Sweet, fruity and tropical, it reminds you of the beach. You can taste the raspberry and the rich coconut. To me, it resembles Escada Fiesta Carioca very closely; I love both, though I might choose the Escada. It’s different from the rest of the typical citrus or aquatic summer perfumes; this one transports me to the Caribbean, to beaches, sun and palm trees… what a pleasure!
It’s tropical and sweet, ideal for young girls due to its fruity and fresh aroma. It doesn’t stray far from current trends, but it attempts an interesting twist with jasmine tea, exotic woods, and patchouli. They say they were inspired by a Cuban dancer who went to Paris, hence that mix of tropical fruits and warm European notes. The concept sounds interesting, but it failed due to average-quality ingredients: the fruits are a sugary mess, the jasmine tea smells like dirty water with wilted flowers, and the woody-vanilla base is heady, strident, and cloying. It’s not as bad as other infamy, but it’s not good. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, although it might be my personal taste, which can’t stand sugar in scents. Presentation: 2/10 (I used to love the packaging, but now I find it ugly, uncomfortable, and fragile; the atomiser is good). Longevity: 4/10 (even though it’s an EDT, it lasts very little, an hour or an hour and a half at best). Sillage: 6/10 (decent, not explosive nor too intimate, just while it lasts on the skin). Originality: 3/10. Versatility: 3/10 (only for the beach or summer, perhaps an evening summer look so the sweetness isn’t oppressive). Season: summer only. Personal taste: 4/10. Would I buy again?: no.
The bottle is very pretty and the fragrance is pure summer, super fruity and fresh. As soon as I apply it, I smell raspberry; it’s delicious and it’s the most noticeable note at first. As for longevity, it doesn’t last long on my skin, what a pity. Otherwise, it smells incredibly well, super fresh and nothing cloying.
I read so much about this perfume that I dreamed of owning it, imagining a tropical cloud. I finally got it, but to my surprise, it wasn’t what I expected. It’s not a bad perfume, but I had other expectations. I like it, but I don’t love it.
It smells like fresh pineapple, not sweet; I think the guava is responsible. The trail is soft but the longevity is poor, to be honest. I bought it on discount, so I don’t think I’d invest more than $25. The bottle is super fragile; it fell with the cap on and the neck broke. I’d recommend it for a young girl or teenager, but it wasn’t the best…
