I’ve tried this several times and only detect a few of the advertised notes. For the first five seconds, it smells of boozy cherry, then quickly shifts to orange blossom; up to that point, it’s fine. After that, everything changes: by 20 minutes it becomes woody, the earlier notes vanish, leaving only Akigalawood and patchouli. I didn’t enjoy the dry-down, but if you liked Emerald from this collection, you’ll probably like this one. It’s long-lasting with a shy sillage. It smells like an older person’s perfume, largely due to the wood that dominates it.
