Reminds me of a lemon sorbet with a woody note, exactly what I detect on my skin. It’s hugely pleasant, lasts well, and has a strong presence.
A woodsy lemon sorbet is the best way I can describe it, at least on my skin that’s how I feel it. Very pleasant, long-lasting, and with a strong presence.
The opening with bergamot and ginger is spectacular, though it fades quickly. Then the woods take over, staying there all the time, juicy and fresh with a sap-like sweetness. The trail is notable and lasts over 12 hours. It leans slightly towards the masculine side, but it’s a delicious perfume that I absolutely love and smells tremendously elegant. It has the same vibe as the Bois Imperial from Essential Parfums, which is my favourite and already in my collection. The Hedonist is fresher and its projection is a bit lower, though it remains notable. Bois Imperial feels more unisex and is my preferred choice, although I’ve also loved The Hedonist. The price difference between the two is huge, so I’ll stick with the Essential Parfums one for now. What a pity to finish the sample! Scent 8/10, Longevity 10/10, Sillage 8/10, Value for money 5/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? I haven’t purchased it yet.
Fantastic perfume. It’s blown my mind today. Coming to the collection soon. It’s a Miu Miu but for men. Totally addictive and very versatile. Try it without fail.
