Like the Nina Ricci one, it’s lovely but it can become tiring if you wear it too much.

  • I like it, but there is a slightly artificial note that doesn’t convince me; I’m not sure if it’s too much passionfruit. It’s long-lasting, but it doesn’t leave much sillage; only a little for the first two hours and then it loses intensity, noticeable only if you get very close.

Maui Fantasy is the second option in this line for the heat, made for the beach. I find it tedious to think more flankers are coming because the quality starts to drop and the brand should focus on its main fragrances instead of wearing down a 2000s classic. Maui attempts to correct the disaster of Island Fantasy; it’s an improvement, but moving from mediocrity to mere average isn’t something to be proud of. It came out early in the year and no one cared, neither experts nor Britney; it seemed they wanted to rush interest in flankers that were previously well-executed. Although it uses new ingredients, the result feels half-baked. It’s polarising: for some it’s a tropical essence with sour-sweet coconut, effervescent grapefruit and juicy passionfruit (though I don’t get on well with that note), while for others it’s an absurd, plastic and synthetic floral composition, poorly blended. The tiaré flower looks aged and vinegary, overshadowing the bird of paradise, and mixes with a grating hint of coconut and generic vanilla, plus a rare attempt at wet wood. Inspired by Maui, it’s average, briefly pleasant but ridiculously synthetic in the base. The synthetic side is cancelled out by the heat, so it must be taken very seriously as a tropical fragrance. The trail and longevity are unstable, sometimes extensive and other times vapoury. The visual design is jovial and chic, unnecessary since the brand sells to all ages, and it’s rare to see classmates of fifteen wearing the same fragrance as a seventy-year-old teacher. A Maui Fantasy wasn’t needed, no one asked for it, and I doubt anyone suffers for its absence; it resembles JLo’s Miami Glow but sweeter and warmer. It’s an opportunity to focus on other lines like Curious, Believe or Radiance. Getting hold of it is complex because few want it, so you have to order it or get lucky.

Maui Fantasy would be the second choice in this line for heat, aimed at summer and the beach. For me, thinking of more flankers in the Fantasy line is tedious, as the quality starts to reflect a waning interest; the brand should expand its core fragrances instead of wearing out a 2000s classic. Maui attempts to correct the disaster of Island Fantasy. It’s an improvement, but moving from mediocrity to average is no cause for pride. It was launched this year and no one seemed to care. Maui is a polarising fragrance: for some, a tropical essence with bitter-sweet coconut, effervescent grapefruit, and juicy passionfruit (though I’ve never liked that note). For others, an absurd, synthetic, and poorly blended floral composition; the aged and vinegary tiare flower obscures the bird of paradise. A grating hint of tiare mixes with generic coconut and vanilla, reinforcing the inconsistency, alongside a strange attempt at wet woods. Inspired by Maui, it’s average, briefly pleasant but ridiculously synthetic in the base. The synthetic note is cancelled out by the heat, so it must be taken seriously if it’s tropical. Sillage and longevity are unstable, sometimes extensive, other times vaporous. The visual design is jovial but unnecessary; it’s rare to see 15-year-olds wearing the same as a 70-year-old teacher. Maui Fantasy wasn’t needed, no one asked for it, and I doubt anyone suffers for its absence (it resembles JLo’s Miami Glow, but sweeter and warmer). Once discontinued, it would be an opportunity to focus on other lines, as an alternative to Curious or to exploit the name Believe. Getting it is complex, few look for it, and it sells little; the best bet is international order or luck in a perfumerie.

  • Marvelous! I bought it blindly as a Britney fan and I adore her perfumes; I had no expectations, just imagined something with coconut, but I’ve always wanted a bronzer scent and couldn’t find one until today. It’s a beach, cocktail, and palm tree aroma, absolutely delicious. Consistent with the Fantasy line, which is gourmand and edible, it makes you want to drink it like a Caribbean cocktail. Passionfruit, coconut, cream, sugar, lemon, and tropical flowers… it smells like a treat. A summer hit, Britney!

  • It’s a surprising, cheerful and distinctive perfume that makes me want to go to the seaside. The bottle is gorgeous. It’s a sweet cream with coconut, passionfruit and a cocktail of tropical flowers – a delicious mix. Although it loses intensity quickly, it’s ideal for hot days. It smells like fresh fruit juice with sugar, making me crave to eat it.

Although it loses intensity, it’s ideal for hot days. It makes me want to eat it; it brings to mind fresh fruit juice with sugar.

  • What a fresh scent! The coconut and passionfruit notes are noticeable instantly, followed by neroli and sandalwood, a brilliant mix. The bottle shares the same theme as Fantasy in Bloom but feels more beachy and pretty. As an Eau de Toilette, it doesn’t last long on my skin, so I have to reapply it several times a day, but it doesn’t matter because it smells wonderful. Definitely for summer.

Maui Fantasy is part of the Fantasy family, something I was intrigued by but also wary of. Upon seeing it, I had no hesitation and had it sprayed on my wrist. The first note is coconut, with a slightly synthetic touch reminiscent of sunscreen, yet with a delicious coconut water aroma. The passionfruit adds sweetness, combining perfectly with the coconut. The other notes provide softness and aquatic freshness, ideal for summer or the beach. The funny thing is that I don’t usually enjoy going to the beach, but this smells like bottled sea; I almost felt the sand and felt the urge to swim. The longevity and sillage are moderate; it doesn’t last long in winter, but my opinion might change in summer. It stays on my wishlist. The Fantasy family never disappoints. It’s incredible that I don’t like Britney but adore her perfumes. Scent: 8.5/10, Sillage: 9/10, Longevity: 8/10

  • What a find! I bought it blindly because of the price and it was the best decision. It smells of coconut and vanilla, and you can tell it lasts all day. Highly recommended!

  • A fresh, youthful, fruity, and sweet scent; durable, economical, with a light bottle and pleasant design. It takes you back to happy beach days with delicious coconut. In short, several attributes I’m glad to have acquired.

  • I bought it without trying; it was a good price and reading reviews I saw it was similar to Miami Glow, which is true. I had that perfume years ago; I liked it but for some reason stopped using it and gifted it to a friend. Over time, I regretted it and never found it again, but there’s no need now as I have Maui Fantasy and they really do resemble each other, and I’d even say this one is richer. I’m terrible at describing perfumes, but I recommend it. It’s summery and has good longevity. Britney Spears did it again!

  • I bought it without trying it first; it was a good price and based on reviews I knew it was similar to Miami Glow, and it certainly is. I had it years ago, liked it but gifted it away, and with time I regretted it because I can’t find it anymore. Now I have Maui Fantasy and they smell very similar, with this one actually smelling better. I’m terrible at describing perfumes, but I recommend it. It’s summery, has decent longevity and Britney has done it again.

  • I like this Maui Fantasy. In my opinion, having heard and used several fragrances with a coconut scent, this one seems good to me. It has a slightly artificial touch, but I haven’t felt that note as unnatural yet. Interesting price-to-quality ratio. Ideal for the beach and summer. It’s nothing extraordinary, but I think coconut lovers should give it a chance and won’t be disappointed. Now, if you’re a perfume snob, run like the plague.

  • Summer in a bottle. It transports you to a beach chiringuito instantly. Maui Fantasy smells mainly of passionfruit and creamy coconut, very tropical. The truth is, it’s also slightly synthetic, but very rich. For me, it’s delicious. Abstain if you can’t handle synthetic notes. Scent 7/10, Longevity 6/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 7/10, Versatility 4/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

It intrigued me for a long time: everyone said it was ‘beach in a bottle’ with a fabulous note combination, but I never found it to try, so I ordered it blindly. What a surprise! It’s very similar to Tous Bonjour Señorita, which I already own; this one is more pleasant to my nose and has fresher notes. Maui has synthetic notes, but it doesn’t disappoint like most of the Fantasy line: it’s youthful, fun, and easy to wear. I’d give it 7/10.

I found it here and wanted to try it based on the notes; the truth is it has completely charmed me. It’s sweet but the fruity notes stand out; the coconut is very noticeable. It reminds me of summer and has excellent longevity. I would use it a thousand times.

  • I love it for summer; it’s funny because it smells very much of coconut and also of Listerine, that mouthwash here. It refreshes while smelling of coconut. I find it super summery and I’ll probably buy it again because it’s economical and long-lasting.

  • Chispilla81

Ideal for summer and for the day rather than the night. The drawback is that on my skin it has little projection and longevity; I can project for a short hour and it lasts a maximum of 3 hours. Being an Eau de Toilette, you can’t expect much, but in my case, it’s very short-lived. It’s a cheerful, youthful, and summery scent. To my taste, it has synthetic notes, but that doesn’t make it ugly; it reminds me of a passionfruit chew. I see it as more tropical than beachy. What I detect most is passionfruit with grapefruit at the start, then the tiare flower wrapped in vanilla (very sweet and synthetic) and coconut with some woods. For me, it’s like an opened coconut with pieces of passionfruit, grapefruit, and tiare flowers bathed in vanilla. If I were to assign it a character, it would be Lilo from Lilo & Stitch, as it smells ideal for her setting and suits her youth and cheerfulness perfectly. It’s not intrusive and I think it would suit any age, but it would look gorgeous on a girl like Lilo. Ideal for those who enjoy tropical scents even if synthetic, although as I said, it doesn’t have too much longevity.

  • Chispilla81

The ideal toilet water for summer and for daytime. The downside is that on my skin it has poor projection and longevity: it lasts barely an hour and at most three hours. Although being an Eau Toilette one can’t expect too much, for me it’s short. It’s a cheerful, youthful and summery scent, a bit synthetic but not unpleasant; it reminds me of passion fruit chewing gum. It’s more tropical than beachy. What I detect most is the passion fruit and grapefruit at the start, with a tiare flower wrapped in sweet, synthetic vanilla, and a coconut note with woods. To me, it’s an opened coconut full of chunks of passion fruit, grapefruit and tiare flowers bathed in vanilla. If I were to give it a character, it would be Lilo from Lilo & Stitch, ideal for her setting and for her cheerful character. It’s not intrusive and although I think it suits any age, it would look beautiful on a girl like Lilo. Ideal for those who enjoy synthetic tropical scents, although as I say, it doesn’t last long.

I thought I’d find coconut based on the reviews, but to me it smells of passionfruit and orange with flowers, with little coconut and vanilla. It’s very sweet and synthetic, too intense and enveloping that I can’t stand it. If anything, it’s for very, very young girls.

  • melissavargasmarquez

I was looking for coconut based on the reviews, but to me it smells more like passion fruit, orange and flowers, with very little coconut and vanilla. It’s very sweet, synthetic and far too intense; it’s so enveloping that I can’t stand it. Perhaps only for young girls.

  • I absolutely love that blend of grapefruit, passionfruit and coconut; it smells like freshly squeezed coconut water, as if someone just cracked open a coconut on the beach. It’s super fresh, tropical and summery – I’m fascinated by it.

  • aldonunez

Perhaps the blend of grapefruit, passion fruit and coconut is a total success; it smells like freshly squeezed coconut water, as if you’ve just cracked open a coconut. It’s super fresh, evoking the beach in a bottle, very tropical and summery; I’m utterly fascinated by it.
