Hi, I received a sample of this perfume via Instagram but couldn’t try it until now as I had to leave early and, due to the lockdown, hadn’t been able to get back home. I think it’s a very good perfume. It’s not really my thing; it’s not the kind of scent I usually wear or enjoy, but I do recognise the high quality. It certainly has a fruity touch, with a quite noticeable champagne-like note, and a balsamic part that gives it a sweet, smoky character; however, what stands out most for me is the woody, creamy character of the patchouli and sandalwood, enhanced by an oud wood and ambergris that give it a fairly animalic touch. It reminds me quite a bit of some of Bortnikoffs’ perfumes. The longevity is excellent – it lasted more than eight hours on my skin, remaining perfectly noticeable throughout, although the projection is moderate. I see it as unisex, though I imagine it more on men than women, as it’s an intense and rather bitter scent, ideal for cold climates.
