I like the sweet scent, perfect for winter afternoons in Lima. It lasts moderately on the skin but lingers for quite a while on clothes.
So far, the best from Oriflame. The tonka bean dominates throughout, it’s very sensual and addictive. Intense at first, but then it softens and becomes absolutely delicious.
Buy blind, it’s pure tonka bean. The potent opening reminds me of overdoing almond extract in the bakery but amplified. By the halfway mark, the vanilla softens it, but that green aquatic freshness made me dizzy and wasn’t pleasant; only at the end, when little is left, does it shine better thanks to the vanilla. I didn’t notice the raspberry; it’s not sweet in itself, the aquatic notes and tonka bean dominate, and it lacks projection, fading in three hours with my nose right up against it. I didn’t like it, except for the bottle and knowing what tonka bean smells like at its maximum expression, what a pity. REEDITED: Years after gifting it because I didn’t like it, I bought it again and it conquered me. Perhaps I tried it at the wrong time or in terrible weather. Now that it’s winter, it’s exquisite tonka bean with vanilla, the raspberry almost imperceptible, but it has won me over. It lasts 7 hours with a moderate trail, good performance for a catalogue scent. I clarify that the first time I felt it was clearer; perhaps the formula wasn’t working well. I’m correcting my perception to do it justice: it’s beautiful, worthy of Nathalie Lorson.
I love it; I’ve received many compliments from gentlemen. It doesn’t smell like a common perfume, it’s clean with a sexy touch, ideal for daily wear and leaves a very pleasant trail.
Not what I expected; I thought it would be sweeter due to the tonka bean, one of my favourite notes, but the aquatic notes dominate. It’s a rich and fresh blend, perfectly suited for spring and summer.
