I’ve been caught out by the longevity of this eco-perfume. On my skin, everything evaporates quickly, so I usually go for gourmand or oriental scents if I want projection, but Elise is a delicious fruity-floral and nothing heavy, perhaps due to its natural ingredients. I wear it during the day and sometimes mix it with Mina from the same house to improve the trail and longevity. The bottle is elegant and high quality, with a recycled wooden cap and it’s refillable. It feels super feminine and wintry, ideal for anyone looking for something sweet yet original.
Although it says floral woody musk, I don’t detect any wood; I’d say it’s an oriental floral. Mostly, I sense the blackcurrant and the rose. I hate the first one from LVEB and I’ve never been able to stand the second. But the perfume isn’t irritating because the rest of the notes soften it. If you like very feminine perfumes from the oriental/floral-fruity line (without patchouli) but not the usual ones, this is for you. I’d keep it for evenings, better suited to autumn or winter.
