Forget the official notes; this isn’t aromatic at all, it smells very sweet. If you’re from Argentina, it might remind you of Palitos de la Selva candies. It’s not very versatile and quite youthful; if you’re over 30, you might break out in spots and feel like going to a matinee.
Excellent for evening wear, perfect for fans of sweet perfumes. The performance is outstanding, although the scent does feel synthetic.
An Ultra Male clone 🤙
Ideal for the evening, perfect for sweet lovers. The performance is outstanding, although the scent has a slightly synthetic touch.
Elegant, with a fine lavender.
My boyfriend wore it first, just on his wrists, and I found it sweet and fruity; I loved it. Today I applied it behind my ears and on my neck and noticed a total change: now it smells very woody. Still, it immediately reminds me of Mugler’s Angel because they share many base notes. We’ll see how it evolves over the coming days.
I tried it in a perfumerie and it seemed much more intense than 9PM. At $45, I think I’m going to buy it.
I just bought it and it’s gone crazy on me. Although the mint and lavender opening is subtly masculine, it becomes super sweet over time, very similar to Mugler’s Angel. For me, it’s 100% wearable for women, unlike what some reviews suggest. If you love sweet and uncommon fragrances like Aura or Angel, this is perfect and at an incredible price. I bought it along with Ameeri by Al Wataniah, which also seems to lack reviews.
I’ve been hunting for something like Ultra Male without paying the original’s $35 price tag. This gem at $14 is a total hit: it smells almost identical but more gourmet and creamy, avoiding the bubblegum scent of 9PM. In terms of value for money, it’s a GOD; it lasts 7-8 hours and projects a metre. It’s worth every penny compared to Attar Al Wasal, and I’d place it alongside Hayaati Noir.
Exquisite, masculine. Lavender, pear, and mint. I think it can’t fail to please. It’s a fragrance that leaves a trail and its longevity is better than the 9PM. It’s citrusy and vanilla-rich, what more can we ask of a men’s perfume? I think this perfume has no downsides. Love at first sniff.
I’ll let it macerate; it has more quality than Colonial Club Signature, but for now, I don’t feel it lasts long.
Hello, I hope you’re all having an excellent day. Today I’m leaving my opinion on this fragrance. The truth is I like it; it’s a sweet and cheerful fragrance. On my skin, it opens with a caramelised fruit aroma; as it dries down, the sweetness calms a bit and earthy strokes appear, which I personally like very much. Also, at times I sense a slightly metallic aroma, which is a sensation I also felt in Rave Now. It’s a pleasant, youthful, informal fragrance that I consider can be enjoyed mainly in temperate climates; its sweet character would also enable it to perform well in cold climates, but on my skin, it behaves quite moderately regarding longevity and projection. I can’t compare it to JPG’s Ultra Male as I’ve never owned it; however, I have had the 9PM, and while they are similar, I consider the 9PM has a floral touch that gives it a silkier texture, so to speak. Anyway, I consider that at the price at which Attar Al Wesal is available, it’s a relaxed and fun fragrance worth trying. Sending a big hug from Argentina and see you in the next review.
Hello, how are you? Today I’m sharing my thoughts on this fragrance. To be honest, I like it; it’s sweet and cheerful. On my skin, it opens with a caramelised fruit scent; as it dries down, the sweetness mellows slightly and earthy notes emerge, which I absolutely adore. At times, I also detect a metallic touch, something I noticed in Rave Now before. It’s a pleasant, youthful, and informal scent, perfect for mild climates. Its sweet character would work well in the cold, but on my skin, the longevity and projection are moderate. I haven’t compared it to Ultra Male by JPG as I’ve never owned that one, but I have with 9 PM; while they are similar, 9 PM has a floral touch that gives it a silkier texture. Anyway, considering the price of Attar Al Wesal, it’s a carefree and fun fragrance worth trying. A big hug from Argentina and see you in the next review.
Very similar to Ultra Male, too sweet for my taste.
It’s cool, a mainstream classic. It’s comfortable for going out at night, lasts quite a while on skin and much longer on clothes. Yes, it’s a youthful scent, a bit ‘bolichero’ (club-style), and fairly cloned; I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking to stand out or express your unique essence. Apart from that, it’s ideal for days when you don’t care about anything: it’s undeniably rich, uplifting, and just playful.
Ta piola, mainstream card. It’s comfortable for going out at night, lasts quite a bit on skin and much longer on clothes. However, it is indeed a quite cloned youthful club aroma; I wouldn’t recommend it in contexts where you seek to differentiate or mark your essence. Setting that aside, ideal for days off where you don’t care about anything; it’s undeniably rich and uplifting, it plays.
The opening is very strong, to the point where olfactory fatigue sets in almost immediately. I expected something sweeter, and it turns out that among the Ultra Male dupes, this is the ‘least’ sweet (I put quotes because I haven’t tried others, not even the original), but it was a blind purchase and honestly, I expected it to be more pleasant/sweet. I’m not belittling this bomb; its dry-down is spectacular and regarding longevity, it’s in my top tier in my collection, but perhaps my expectations were off. I haven’t used it yet as I bought it in summer to let it age properly, keeping it in the wardrobe until winter; I’ll return in winter to see if I change my mind. 10/10 for others, for me, perhaps a 7/10.
Right, folks, I’ve found the final boss. This fragrance is an absolute bomb, impressive and fills the room. Yes, it resembles Ultra Male and 9PM, but it surpasses them by a mile. Currently, I have both atomised on my arms, and this projects a madness that almost makes me not notice 9PM, even though it’s been macerating for six months. It doesn’t need maceration; you arrive, put it on, and head straight to the party. It smells of fruity bubblegum with cinnamon. Longevity: Extremely superior; I fell asleep with it on and it’s still on my skin the next day, exceeding eight hours. Projection: Brutal for the first two hours, it’s a room-filler; be careful with the sprays, what it projects is ridiculous. Sillage: Heavy, leaving a trail of two metres; the vanilla and amber notes work magic. Performance: Obvious, but it’s not niche; it plays it safe. Occasions: Don’t wear it in the heat, it becomes harassing and tiring for the nose. Wear it only in the cold, autumn, or winter, for night parties or clubs. Last week I took it to a club and it filled the entire room until my friend Andro started coughing. In conclusion, I’ll never buy 9PM by Afnan again. This cost me $24, an unbeatable price for this bomb. If you find it on sale and you like sweet scents, buy it; you won’t regret it.
Well folks, I’ve found the final boss. This fragrance is an absolute bomb, truly impressive, filling rooms and projecting excessively. Yes, it resembles JPG’s Ultra Male and 9PM, but it gives both a run for their money in a ridiculous way. Right now, I have both atomised, one on each arm, and the projection of this perfume is insane; I can barely notice the 9PM, and bear in mind, my 9PM has been macerating for over six months and it still doesn’t come close. Truly, this perfume has arrived. I applied it and it performs like a champion. Here, there’s no need to macerate, store in a box, or tell a thousand stories: you arrive, apply it, and head out to the party. As a brief description, I’d say (like the 9PM) it smells to a slightly fruity gum with cinnamon. As a note, for those interested, it’s a 2024 batch. Longevity: Extremely superior to the average; I applied it, went to sleep, and still noticed it the next day, obviously not as in the first few hours, but it is noticeable on skin, easily surpassing 8 hours, and in cold climates, perhaps even more. Projection: Brutal, at least for the first two hours; I would classify it as a room-filler, even becoming annoying, so be careful with sprays; truly, the amount this thing projects without a month of maceration is ridiculous. Sillage: Heavy, leaving a trail when you pass, at least 2 metres approx; those vanilla and amber notes do their magic; I guarantee you that if you pass someone, it’s impossible they won’t notice. Compliments: Obvious. It brings compliments; it’s a fragrance I’ve personally only smelled on a couple of people, and with all due respect, I feel they are using it incorrectly, but yes, it’s very probable they’ll tell you you smell good if you wear this, just take into account that it’s not a niche aroma or the ‘black thread’ (the best), rather it goes for the safe bet, towards what pleases the masses. Situations where I would recommend it: Please, I earnestly ask that if there is sun and it’s hot, do not use this, because then it does become somewhat annoying, very tiring for the nose, and far from getting a compliment, the most likely thing is they’ll ask ‘who put on perfume?’ in an unpleasant tone. This is where I want to mention those two people I’ve heard wearing this fragrance: one was on a hot day, around 28 degrees; truly, an aroma as pleasant as this becomes something annoying to smell; and the other person used it in an office environment (my theory is they were using 9PM or Ultra Male, I don’t know, but it was this aroma) and in the same way, the aroma invaded the whole office, which is small, but still became super annoying for the nose. So I would recommend this perfume exclusively for autumn-winter, necessarily on cold days or when the day is cloudy; with sun, don’t even think about it, you’ll be like the high school boy who put on his Axe chocolate after break. To avoid that, use it only in cold contexts and night outings, and since it’s such a striking perfume, you can take it to a night party or a club and you won’t have any problems. As an anecdote, I want to add that last week I took this perfume to a club, and as is custom, my friend Andro and I put on perfume before leaving, and truly, this thing filled my room with scent; we had to open the window for the smell to escape, and even my friend Andro was coughing from how strong the aroma was. In conclusion, I will never buy Afnan’s 9PM again; this perfume cost me $24, an unbeatable price for this bomb, much cheaper than Afnan’s and with better performance, so if you find it on a good deal and you like sweet perfumes, buy it, you won’t regret it. A hug.
Attar Al Wesal conveys cleanliness and comfort. It has that shaving foam or shower gel touch that makes it very pleasant and easy to wear. The opening highlights lavender, with a fresh, slightly sweet note where I perceive a soft pear with a minty nuance. It’s not aggressive; rather, it’s clean, relaxing, and consistent. The heart maintains this aromatic line with lavender as the star. The evolution is linear, with no major changes, but it’s pleasant because it never becomes heavy. As it dries down, vanilla and amber appear, giving it a creamy sweetness alongside a woody base. It’s sweet and fresh at the same time, very versatile and comfortable. It plays it safe without being overpowering. After letting it age for a few months, I noticed a clear improvement in its performance: initially, it seemed very soft and barely noticeable after three hours, but now it lasts around 8 hours without issue, with moderate projection. For me, it’s not a ‘room-filler’, but it performs quite well. I see it as usable all year round, especially in spring and autumn with mild temperatures. In summer, it can work on cool nights as it isn’t heavy. It’s a youthful, comfortable, and easy-to-please fragrance, ideal for daily wear, work, or informal situations. For the price, it seems like a very correct and enjoyable fragrance. Note: 7.5/10.
What a lovely perfume! It’s unisex but leans more towards the masculine side; it’s insane. It’s sweet, vanilla-rich, and you can definitely smell the lavender. It’s like Burberry Goddess but much more potent and masculine. From a distance, the lavender is more noticeable, while up close, the vanilla takes over.
I left it bottled for three months because it was impossible to wear. At first, it smelled similar to Ultra Male, but then it developed a nonsensical blend of notes, nothing pleasant. Now, the opening remains similar, something sweet, like an apple-pear mix. Although it’s not declared, I detect a sort of green apple, and that’s where it stays. It doesn’t evolve at all. On skin, it lasts about 4-5 hours, perhaps a bit longer if you apply a generous amount. On clothes, it lasts much longer and leaves a fresh scent that the Swiss would envy. Would I recommend it? As a perfume, no. As a room freshener, if you don’t mind spending £15, it might be worth it.
