It’s an Ultramale but more herbal and woody. At first, it didn’t grab me, but once it mellowed, the notes opened up and now it smells fantastic. It’s a more mature, less casual version of 9PM, perfect for autumn and winter; the heat distorts it in summer. A good perfume, though a little hard to understand.
The JPG Ultra Male version I dislike the most. Although it’s less sweet than the Afnan 9PM, Nitro Green smells odd, like wet baby wipes; that sensation is just annoying. They removed the fruity notes and added lots of amber and vanilla, but it ends up unbalanced, reminding me of 212 Sexy Men. It’s disappointing because I expected more from Dumont. Nitro Intense is something else entirely—a delicious beast—so my expectations were high. It doesn’t smell bad and is wearable, but for Ultra Male dupes, I stick with 9PM.

Clearly inspired by the JPG Ultra Male, though as it dries down, the wood and earthy notes become more prominent, making it less sweet than the original. It is true that it’s linear, but for the price, it delivers a lot: quality notes, normal longevity, and acceptable projection. Although it reminds me of the Afnan 9PM, this one feels more plastic and synthetic. In fact, I sold my 9PM because it gave me a headache when I used it; with this Nitro Green, there’s no issue. It cost me about $25, so I give it a 9/10.
What I notice most as it dries down is a vanilla with woods, simply very rich if you don’t have anything similar. I see it as versatile, but not so much in very hot climates. Without a doubt, I’ll keep it in mind to try again in the future.

Of all the Nitros I’ve tried, this is the one I liked the least. It’s very similar to the Afnan 9PM and strays from the inspiration DNA, the JPG Ultra Male, which has a smoky touch that makes it more masculine. To me, it seems to have an Arabic-style perfume note, like Lattafa, with pineapple and vanilla… I don’t feel real quality compared to its sisters from the same house. The performance is brutal, which is a plus. Smell before you buy. If you have the 9PM, don’t buy this; it’s almost the same.
Inspired by the JPG Ultra Male, I prefer it to the famous 9PM.
A delightful fragrance and at a ridiculously cheap price. Great projection and longevity. 100% recommended, buy blind.
