Nitro Intense by Dumont

I bought five versions of Aventus Absolu and this is the one that stole my heart. It doesn’t take anything away from the original; although they aren’t identical, you need to smell them side by side to notice the difference. It smells like success without that cheap detergent scent. Smoky, fruity, and citrus notes. Ideal for any occasion. Scent 10, price 8, projection and longevity 8 each.

I’m not an expert on notes, but it smells elegant and good enough for me. It gives me confidence to wear a shirt. It has a powerful trail but doesn’t last as long; while it does, it smells delicious. Wear it at night. If you’re looking for something Aventus-style on a budget, go ahead, I love it for the price.

Personally, I didn’t like it. It’s not a bad smell, but it reminds me of those Aventus imitations. To me, it smells like a pineapple palette with a spicy kick from the pepper. You might love it. For the price, it’s worth buying blind. It lasts and projects a lot. Don’t use it in enclosed spaces. A good perfume, but not for me.

It’s delicious, sensual, and very masculine. It has a rock ‘n’ roll and nocturnal touch. It reminds me of the Black XS L’Exces, with that pineapple in syrup in a jar. Although it seems like a clone of Aventus Absolu, Beast Mode. One of the best purchases of the year. For all year and any occasion. 10/10.

I bought it to check the DNA of the Aventus Absolu. Since it had no Dumont, I was encouraged. From the start, it smells of sweet, ambered pineapple, almost like syrup. The citrus is less vibrant and the smoke less potent. It projects massively, fills the room, and accompanies you for two hours. As it dries down, it remains ambered and floral notes emerge with patchouli and pepper, like a cocktail. Then come clean white woods from the musk. Finally, vanilla appears aromatic, not like a dessert. The amber is always there, giving body and warmth. It’s delicious and generates compliments from everyone. (My colleagues asked me to buy it as a gift for them). I’d describe it as a sweeter, more ambered Aventus than citrusy and woody, so not for summer. It looks more mature due to the floral and spicy touch, ideal for formal occasions: shirt or suit for day or night in spring, autumn, and winter. 100% recommended.

Truth be told, it smells nothing like fruit. It reminds me of Zara Vibrant Leather but with steroids: extremely fresh with a cedar that dominates. I liked it a lot; it projects massively, but it doesn’t last as long as Nitro Red. Unlike the Red, this one doesn’t evolve; it’s quite linear.

I received it and went out to test it. It projects a lot and has presence, ideal if you enjoy these aromas. To me, the opening sounded like Axion soap ‘degreaser’, nothing pleasant at first. As it dries, it becomes more bearable, though it still isn’t my style. My girlfriend said it smells like insecticide, which is funny but true. In the end, skin pH changes everything; this Nitro isn’t for me, but it could be gold on another skin.

My goodness, it’s beautiful. Very well structured, and since I love Club de Nuit Intense Man and Creed Aventus, this is a clone of both. It’s neat, elegant, sensual, cheap, and affordable. I’m going for it, I want it, and I must have it. It has good fixation, excellent dry-down, and projective longevity. Simply something beautiful.

In my life, I won’t buy CDNI again; this is a GEM. I love the scent and yes, it recalls the Aventus DNA. It just arrived, I’ll test it for a few days, but given the price (under $25 at Walmart), it’s almost mandatory if you like Aventus. I’ll return with more details. My initial impressions: it far surpasses CDNI, eliminating that unpleasant opening. It is indeed a sharp citrus, but with smoky pineapple and berries, very fruity with incense touches. As it dries, it becomes more amber, with more incense, sweet, and woody. I’d highlight that it’s for older people; it’s not ‘old man scent’ but has great character; I wouldn’t recommend it to under 20-25 years old, but rather for formal occasions or weddings. For 30+, it can be your daily perfume. Longevity: 8-10 hours easily, on clothes it’s eternal (I’ve washed t-shirts and it’s still there). On skin it lasts until you shower, and sometimes after. Beware with sprays. Projection: 1-2 metres, fills the room, anyone passing by notices it. Sillage: heavy, due to that amber and resinous base. Compliments: personally I haven’t received any from women, but my acquaintances have asked. I give it 6/10, influenced by my age; if you’re young it might sound out of place. Should I buy blind? Yes, if you like Aventus and seek that smoky and resinous touch. If you’re young, not 100%, but try it. For me, the true Black Beast is this; it turns a million tricks against CDNI, Zara Vibrant Leather, and all the clones. That’s my opinion, a hug.

Reminds me of Aventus, but it’s not an alternative; it’s more like a sweeter Aventus. It’s long-lasting and projects a lot. Given the price and performance, for me it’s an excellent option.

For the price, what a bargain!

The performance is poor when first applied; it’s natural but I’m dismayed because, unlike Nitro Red which lasted quite a while and was even intense, with this one you have to let it oxidise for a few weeks if you want to wear it daily. Despite what is said, I consider it a more subtle scent, better suited for outings that aren’t in intense heat, because due to its smoky, sour pineapple notes, it feels somewhat oppressive in hot weather, making you feel as though you’re being grilled. Do not misunderstand, it is the best fragrance I have had to date, and setting aside my own comments, I wear it daily until I can find another with a similar pineapple scent but not smoky, which is the main issue with how I use it. 9.5/10 from Perfumon; it stays on clothes and you fall in love. It’s not a 10 because nothing is perfect.

Beautiful fragrance; I bought it before CDNi as reviews suggested it was a better option. I have no regrets whatsoever. It has a very pleasant lemon scent with a touch of pineapple, very much in the style of Montblanc Explorer. Highly recommended! One of my favourites.

One of the most interesting Aventus clones and inspirations because it follows a different path from most while remaining faithful to the DNA it is inspired by; it opens with juicy, very sweet and partially caramelised pineapple, as if it were grilled or pressed (it is slightly perceived as synthetic, but pleasant). As it dries down, the sweetness of the pineapple continues, accompanied by fruity tones, then gradually diminishes as a dry, subtly spicy and spiced smokiness begins to take over, thanks to the pepper and cinnamon-myrh combination. The dry down can be a bit monotonous as the sweetness fades and only the smokiness remains. I like that the smokiness replaces the green, woody and mossy tones that dominate in other versions when drying down. Excellent longevity, very masculine scent; you have to be careful with the sprays because that smoky, slightly spicy tone can be overwhelming or irritating. Personally, I wouldn’t wear it in extreme heat because it maintains a more marked sweetness than its Aventus-style alternatives, and personally I don’t fancy smelling like smoke when it’s above 33 degrees. Less flashy, more elegant.

I’m not sure if it’s the plum or blackcurrant note it declares, but the first 20-30 minutes I don’t like the scent; after that time, it’s a wonderful aroma. At the moment, I’m left with this and Supremacy NOI as the most pleasant in this line!
