It makes you want to keep it close, I don’t even know if they still produce it. It’s a beast of a perfume. The opening seems like it’ll hit you hard, but in seconds it settles and smells fantastic, leaving a woody base with a soft patchouli touch (even though it’s not listed in the pyramid). I see it as unisex.

I find it astonishing that this little fragrance has so much Oud Wood potential. To me, it’s clearly more on the masculine side than the feminine; it doesn’t sit right with me imagining a woman wearing Oud Wood, though logically they do have their differences. I’d say the ‘oud’ charge here is even stronger than in Tom Ford.

I don’t understand why there’s a bad note for this eau de toilette. Once on the skin, it smells wonderful. At first, just upon application, it can be a bit sharp, but only for the first few minutes. It’s worth highlighting that it’s very feminine, intimate, and sensual, although it does have its own character.
