This sample was a great find. It starts sweet with mandarin, pineapple and cardamom, but vanilla soon takes over. After five hours, it smells of intense vanilla, amber and patchouli; if there are florals, perhaps a hint of lavender. At ten hours, the dry-down is long with amber, vanilla and base woods. It reminds me of Versace Blue Jeans or Ted Lapidus Black Soul in certain phases. I’m not sure if Lomani still produces it, but if you’re looking for an affordable woody oriental vanilla for winter, it’s a good option. The longevity exceeded twelve hours with just 1 ml: a heavy trail at first, moderate afterwards, and almost skin-scent by the end. Perfect for winter and evening wear.
