  • I truly hope Mugler redeems its image and brings us the original Angel DNA. The Elixir (though it doesn’t smell bad) was a disappointment because it doesn’t smell anything like Angel. I’m excited for this launch.

  • In Argentina, there’s a fine perfumery (Holmyy Parfums) that replicates famous brands and updates instantly; they already have this fragrance. I was surprised by how lovely it smells and that peculiar, rich vanilla note. I’m left waiting to try the original, which hasn’t arrived yet, and I’m eagerly anticipating it. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying the dupe, which is a delight in itself. As expected with avian perfumes, the longevity is a success.

Smells absolutely delicious. It’s the classic Angel with a hint of pineapple and coconut. I loved it!

  • I’m returning to my review after trying Fantasía on several occasions. Once the moment of being blinded by the fact that it has coconut-pineapple and it’s Angel has passed, we must be honest and admit that the beautiful moment of piña colada lasts 5 minutes on skin and afterwards only a strong medicinal patchouli with vanilla reigns. I don’t like it because I can’t stand patchouli, but I thought maybe the DNA fanatics of the 90s might like it… But now I don’t even think that. Rather, it’s another deception by the L’Oréal house. The top and heart notes don’t accompany and the dry-down disappears in very few hours. The perfume is expensive and the quality doesn’t support the price. Either they lower prices or raise quality; we must stop applauding any crumb they launch and demand quality.

  • A gem with the usual DNA: sweet pineapple and coconut opening with a vanilla touch, even one could find a rich honey-like sweet scent very soft, with an excellent drydown recalling the usual DNA, unisex, even in summer it can be worn without being heavy, a great perfume.

  • Angel with coconut and a mini touch of pineapple. Super long-lasting. If I liked patchouli, it would be an immediate purchase!

As a huge fan of Angel, I had high expectations for this Angel Fantasm version. After trying it, I’m a bit perplexed. The opening is citrusy and sweet, with that tropical touch already mentioned, but it’s fleeting and soon the essence of the original Angel emerges, lasting for many hours until the end. In short, I like it because I like Angel, but not enough to buy it. The novelty of its different opening doesn’t compensate enough, and I prefer the original and Angel Muse over this Fantasm. Without a doubt, it’s for Angel fans, but better to try it first.

The quintessential blue ‘Sugus’, lots of pineapple and coconut surrounding it, ending with the same dry-down as Ángel Celeste. A black ghost that leaves a scent of coffee dregs, vanilla, or even bitter earth wrapped in patchouli as it fades. The contrast between the adolescence of the ‘Malibú’ with pineapple and the balsamic maturity. As a base, the stability of the firstborn. The journey of a gourmand life. A scent that is little synthetic in the dry-down, yet very rich and addictive. Ángel could be here at his funeral like Sam Wheat in Ghost, in the darkness or at night, alone and sad. For many religions, coconut is considered ‘The food of the soul’, and indeed, this star could be a wandering soul. The pineapple symbolises the search for love, and to finish, the amber acts on the solar plexus, right in the middle, like the torso of the star. 🕯️ 6.5/10.🔥

  • On a trip to Varadero, I went to see Havana… on the way, at a stall by the side of a huge bridge, I had the best piña colada of my life… the smell and taste were etched into my memory… well, Ángel Fantasma smells exactly like that same piña colade I enjoyed that day, retaining the DNA of the original Ángel in the background.

  • To be honest, I’ve never been able to tolerate the Ángel; sometimes, every so often, I try it again just to confirm that our incompatibility will be eternal. In this new version, the feeling of rejection is the same. The first 15 minutes make me feel unwell, and then, once it dries, although it’s more bearable, it still causes me that discomfort. Patchouli itself isn’t a note I dislike entirely; in fact, I have perfumes where that note is the star and I love them, such as Coromandel or Patchouli Aromatics by Lancôme; however, in Ángel, that medicinal patchouli note combined with the pineapple and coconut makes it an intolerable mixture for my nose.

Total bomb! I went without much enthusiasm but what a surprise, what a fantastic scent. A complete success. It’s as if Ángel received a data update, with an extra dose of coconut, the note that stands out most alongside the patchouli. At first, I loved it, but I won’t get a bottle because the coconut dominates too much and I’m not a huge fan; besides, when it dries, it smells exactly like the 2011 Ángel Eau de Toilette (the comet bottle). The longevity is infinite; the next day, I could still smell it on my wrists after showering… incredible, just as perfumes should be, and the trail… this is a nuclear bomb, you leave the scent wherever you go. This is it.

Simply beautiful. Tropical, summery beyond measure. It evokes Bali, Riviera Maya, Varadero: sun, sand, piña colada. That’s exactly what this little gem conveys. It’s durable and has a beastly projection, which maintains the house’s great prestige. As a collector, it definitely must be part of the top of this line. A 10/10 compared to what they’re currently releasing to the market.

  • I was very keen on buying it, luckily I tried it, unfortunately it seemed very soft. In scent it’s similar to the Angel EDP with a marked tropical sweetness, the proposal is lovely but I wouldn’t buy it for the price, very poor the longevity.

Simply beautiful. Tropical, summery as much as possible. Bali, Riviera Maya, Varadero, sun, sand, piña colada… it’s all that this preciousness evokes to me. Durable and with beastly projection, which makes it maintain the great prestige of this house. I, who collect them, it totally must be part of the top of this line. A 10/10 compared to what they currently release to the market.

This is the DNA; the patchouli and amber are felt, however the vanilla and coconut are more protagonists in this version. I don’t like the Angel EDP, I can’t stand it. And with this one it cost me: one spray on the arm and it was projecting and invading my nose for several hours. Excellent quality, but I can’t bear to wear it all the time. Edit: I couldn’t forget it and here I am 9 months after trying it, I went to buy it. Haha, I don’t regret it, the quality is a 1,000 and the bottle beautiful, the aroma projecting for 6 hours. These are the perfumes worth investing in. It will be for special occasions.

This fragrance is exquisite. I had the opportunity to try it on the skin, it lasts many hours. You can feel the coconut, the vanilla and the patchouli very softened. I’m going to buy it at any moment. I live in Argentina and here it arrives as a novelty in January 2025. It will surely be my signature fragrance of this year. I love it.

  • It seems a good flanker, it has the DNA of the original Angel but much more restrained. It can be worn in almost all occasions and seasons as it’s not excessive nor so patchouli-heavy. Fun, cheerful and somewhat tropical with that pineapple and coconut. Obviously it’s very far from the original Angel by Thierry Mugler, which was scandalous and very particular (and loved by me), but its performance isn’t scarce nowadays, nor is it a bomb.

  • Divine star of the Mugler Universe, I get lost in the depth of that dark liquid and simply want to get drunk on your charming and mysterious sweetness. What I’m loving are those creamy and tropical notes of coconut and pineapple, along with that beautiful vanilla, all wrapped in that ambered patchouli base that gives the fragrance depth and a unisex point that I adore. It does maintain the unmistakable DNA of Angel. Trail and projection are quite good. I’m enjoying it so much, from its scent to its bottle, which is a true beauty.

I never thought I’d fall for an Angel, but I hadn’t come across one this exquisite. It’s like a cocktail of tropical fruits with a precise touch of vanilla. I suppose in summer it will be even more irresistible. I bought it this autumn, which is turning fresher, and I’ve still loved it. Longevity over 7 hours, noticeable projection at about 1.7 metres. Expectations? Met. Occasions: any, all.

  • I’m not exactly a fan of Mugler’s Angel precisely, but for now, this one has pleased me. Ground patchouli combined with tropical notes. Very striking but also very bold. I wouldn’t know which situation to choose to wear it.

  • Truly madness, very delicious. I smelled it in a shop and couldn’t stop until I bought it. It stayed impregnated perfectly after a week on the sample paper. I smell the coconut mainly, mixed with the pineapple; it’s a piña colada. Then, when it dries… very similar to the Angel EDP. I must say that with just two sprays it made me dizzy; the next time I’ll only use one. It’s very strong.

  • Casablanca77

What a gorgeous Angel Fantasm with that sweet yet refreshing piña colada opening and its patchouli… but don’t be alarmed, it’s much softer compared to the Angel EDP. The original lasts forever and that note is far more potent. In the heart and dry-down, although it remains fresh, it starts to get dense with the vanilla, and to me, it reminds me of a coconut and pineapple marzipan ice cream—does that even exist? Very pretty if you like coconut, but you must love pineapple. It’s a champion, dense and ideal for autumns and winters when you want something powerful yet cheerful; I believe that vibe comes from the juicy tiaré. And I don’t know, on summer days or nights that aren’t too hot, it seems super cool to wear it with ease. There’s something in its heart and dry-down that reminds me a lot of the first batch of Alien Goddess—could it be the coconut water and its freshness? Perhaps. I adore this kind of Mugler: this happy, beautiful tropical scent without falling into a solar splash; they’re versatile, you smell beautifully, because it’s nothing tacky, the elegance of Angel is still there.

  • afortunada2000@gmail.com

Exactly like the Heliotrope EE Reminiscence, spot on. Lasts a long time, has a wide trail and is very summery.

  • locadelosperfumes76

It’s madness because it combines the best of summer scents (pineapple, coconut) with winter ones (vanilla, sweetness). That makes it strange but very appetising at the same time.

  • fitchandall

As others say, it’s absolute madness. It’s the classic Angel with piña colada. I’d been looking for years for something with pineapple and coconut that lasted, projected and didn’t smell artificial, and this is it. If you like the original you’ll love it, if not, don’t even try it.

  • melisa belen

I’m in love. The notes blend perfectly, revolving everything around the coconut. They recommended it to me in a bar because it complimented my Moschino Fresh Gold. They are two gourmands that you won’t miss if you like sweet vanilla scents. I’m thinking of it for the evening: jovial, sexy, provocative yet embracing and easy to wear, nothing uncomfortable, it’s a caress to the skin.

  • Great perfume, lasts and projects for many hours. Smells of pineapple and coconut to the max, with that Mugler DNA I was missing. It’s worth it, although I sold it because the pineapple punch is huge and it’s not my taste. As good as this one is, the Stellar also has the original DNA and that one is for me. Fantasm, if you like pineapple and the tropical vibe, it’s highly recommended.

  • Yes! It’s a brilliant fragrance, mixing the classic with touches of Innocent, it’s absolute madness as everyone says. Extreme creaminess, dreamy sweetness and that unmistakable scent. One of the most addictive ones, I want to keep this Fantasm with me.

  • It’s classic-style coconut but creamier and more tropical, very unisex. It has its own style, but don’t buy it blindly; it’s not easy to wear. If you don’t like the original, this isn’t for you. I didn’t like it.

  • cursedhazakura

My mother wears the classic version always, but this one is a real moderniser: essential notes, pure elegant coconut without that gourmand touch. You can smell the pineapple, which I generally hate, but here the creaminess is spectacular.
