  Zara Ocean Azure is a sweet scent that fits perfectly in spring. Before I was gifted it, I tested it and the opening smells very much like Ultramale, but the dry-down is another matter. They share that sweetness, vanilla and lavender, but the typical fruity note is missing here. If you test them together, they start the same and then diverge. Despite being sweet, it’s ideal for spring nights, social events or casual wear. It leaves a moderate trail for about four hours and lasts another four on skin and clothes. I recommend it if you don’t have Ultramale or 9PM and your budget is limited.

They share that sweetness, vanilla and lavender, but here the typical fruity note is missing. Side by side, they match in the opening and the first hour, but then they diverge. Despite being sweet, it’s great for spring nights and casual outings. It projects a moderate trail for about four hours and lasts another four on skin and clothes. I recommend it if you don’t have Ultramale or 9PM and your budget is tight.

  D’orsay Inspiré de Esika is almost identical to Ultramale, featuring pear, lavender, patchouli, bourbon vanilla and amber. It’s a delight, a 90% Ultramale clone, but it lasts only about five hours on the skin; on a shirt, however, it hangs for two days. It smells like chocolate with vanilla to me 🍫 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
