  A collector’s gem at 20ml, refillable, and with a sprayer I was shown while testing the new Devotion pour homme Parfum, which I recommend as it doesn’t resemble the previous Devotion men’s fragrance, being fresher with a more subtle coffee note. The only downside to this collectible D&G heart is the price: 42 euros at El Corte Inglés for this exquisite piece that is practically a miniature; it’s a reflection of the price hikes the perfume industry has been subjected to.

  I grabbed it blind without realising it was a limited edition because the bottle caught my eye. On my skin, it smells soft, sweet, and pleasant. The citrus note fades quickly, so it mostly smells like dessert and vanilla. The only drawback (and it’s not a small one) is that the scent disappears very quickly from the skin and projects almost nothing.

  I picked this up on offer just for the bottle, intending only to try the 20ml, but I’ve certainly been hooked. I’ve worn it three times and everyone asks about it and compliments me; even a stranger approached me, something that has never happened with another fragrance. The scent is a simple, vanilla-floral blend without many surprises, yet it proves utterly pleasing. I usually prefer unconventional proposals and unique experiences, but here I enjoy the standard and redundant trend of the moment, and it seems others do too. I’ll be restocking it because, even though it’s more of the same, it makes a difference here. Just my opinion, one more.
