La Cerise is built around the floral fruity gourmand genre, offering a balance between fruity sweetness and the depth of woods and balsams. Its principal accords include woody, warm spicy, amber, sweet, vanillic, cherry, balsamic, fruity, almond and aromatic notes.
The opening notes are cherry liqueur, bitter almond and black cherry. The start is intense and slightly heady, with the bitter almond playing against the sweet black cherry.
In the heart, Turkish rose, sour cherry (morello), jasmine and plum come together. The cherry turns juicier and more tart, while the florals bring refinement. Plum adds an extra layer of ripe fruitiness.
