Nutmeg and black pepper open the composition. The impression is cool and piquant, quite dry, with little in the way of sweetness.
Southernwood alongside lavender forms the middle. The effect is green, aromatic and faintly bitter, recalling a traditional gents' grooming character.
The foundation of amber and guaiac wood then softens the line. Amber lends muted warmth, while guaiac contributes a smooth, woody dryness.
