Black leather, whisky, cognac and tobacco lead the opening, followed by a heart of smoke, wooden barrel, woody notes, honeycomb and ash. Musk, incense, gunpowder, Ambrettolide and bourbon vanilla form the long, warm, balsamic base.
From the first spray, dark tanned leather takes charge, supported by whisky and cognac with a distinctly boozy warmth. Tobacco leaf lends a dry, earthy quality that stops the opening feeling overly polished.
At its centre, the scent becomes more brooding: smoke and ash drift across wooden barrel and woody notes. Honeycomb contributes a golden, waxy richness that lifts the gloom yet leaves the charred character intact.
Towards the base, musk and Ambrettolide offer a cleaner skin-like cushion beneath resinous incense and dry, flinty gunpowder. Bourbon vanilla then folds through, creamy and balsamic, rounding the smoke rather than sweetening it away.
