Peony, cherry blossom and neroli open the composition, leading to a saline heart and a mellow musky foundation. Leather provides the through-line, poised between delicacy and gentle animality.
The first impression is bright with a green tinge. Peony offers a dewy softness, cherry blossom a faintly marzipan sweetness, and neroli contributes a bitter-citrus clarity that lifts the bouquet.
At the centre, the blend grows richer. Leather, salt and rosewood are joined by cherry, coconut and orris root. Here the cherry is succulent rather than jammy, coconut lends creaminess without a beachy turn, and orris keeps a powdery composure.
Salt shapes the character. It brings out the leather, reins in fruity sweetness and recalls the feel of sun-warmed skin. Rosewood adds a slender, dry woody support.
Underneath, the base favours touch and depth. Cumin lends a spiced shimmer, Civetone a measured animalic glow, and Exaltolide®, Helvetolide and Ambrettolide weave together fresh, velvety and lightly sweet musk layers alongside vanilla and musk.
