Devised by Julian Bedel for Fueguia 1833 and introduced in 2023, Cristal del Iberá sits in the floral family and is worn by men and women alike.
It gathers orange blossom, orchid, lime, neroli, olibanum, paramela, petitgrain, green leaves, honey and benzoin, with no stated head-heart-base structure.
At first the scent is all light and leaf: lime, petitgrain and green leaves create a fresh, aromatic coolness reminiscent of humid, sunlit air.
Neroli and orange blossom then take centre stage with a bright, clean character, while orchid lends a softer, more powdery floral veil.
Olibanum brings a thread of dry incense that steadies the bouquet, and paramela adds its distinctive herbal undertone, very much in the botanical spirit of the house.
Towards the drydown, honey and benzoin settle into a mellow amber sweetness, warm and resinous, yet still allowing the earlier freshness to show through.
