Frankincense-style incense, rubbery facets and smoke give way to soil and animal warmth. A full, contemplative composition that unfolds gradually.
At the top are incense, rubber, davana, saffron, tobacco, pine and animal notes. The incense brings ceremony, pine and rubber lend a green-resinous darkness, and saffron with tobacco adds heat. Animal tones hover in the background.
The heart centres on cannabis, dew-drop, coffee, raspberry, cinnamon, smoke and gunpowder. Coffee and cinnamon supply spice, raspberry offers a fleeting brightness, while smoke and gunpowder introduce a mineral dryness. The dew-drop accord provides a moment of clarity.
The base combines amber, oud wood, guaiac wood, ambroxan, ambrettolide, vetiver, geosmin, earthy notes, civet and amberwood. Moist earth, profound woods and a talc-like musk form an enveloping yet unsweetened finish.
Taken together, the perfume is woody, smoky, musky and ambery, with clear animalic, tobacco and oud threads. It moves in strata, from hallowed air towards woodland ground.
